Love the Urban Garden paper!

I just love this Urban Garden designer paper. I just did an Upsy Daisy card class last month using the Urban Garden paper and had a bunch of scraps left over. So, when I was looking for ideas on how to use up some of those scraps, I found this beautiful card on Gretchen Barron’s site and of course, I had to copy it because that is what I do! If I see it and love it, I have to copy it. This one was perfect so I didn’t really change anything except the sentiment. I made a bunch of these and then some of the pieces were too small so I improvised and made the card go up and down instead of across. Colors used are Baja Breeze, Basic Gray and Not quite Navy.

Snow Swirled Ornaments

I just love this card. I was flipping through my favorite blogs today and found a similar card on my friend Barb Mullikin’s site.  (note from Barb: original design came from Aly Schilling–thanks Aly!) I just had to go make it right then. I did change it up a little bit though and used the scallop circle punch instead of the large circle punch for the ornaments. The snowflakes are from the Snow Swirled set .  I hope you like it.

Gifts from a friend….

My friend Michelle stopped by the other day and brought me two cute stamped gifts that she had made at her stamp camp…..this adorable bag of mixed nuts and this beautiful card made with the new "Rose is a Rose"set. There is nothing better than getting hand stamped gifts from friends! Don’t you agree?

It’s snowing!

This is a card I made using the Snow Swirled set that was on special last month. I love that big white snowflake.  I embossed that one to make it pop, and just stamped the other 2 colors.

Upsy Daisy class

Here is a super quick and easy card that I did as part of my Upsy Daisy class last weekend. We did a gift box with 5 cards inside. It was a huge hit. I love this set and the Urban Garden paper goes great with it.

More swap cards…..

Here is another card from my Holiday mini swap….this one was created by my good friend Lorrie Reid. I love the way she used the oval punch on the sides as an accent. I think this Winter Post set is my favorite one in the Holiday mini.

I was not really crazy about Mr. Twigster til I saw this card that my friend Tiffany Cline made. I just think it is adorable! I hope you all are enjoying these cards as much as I am! Have a great weekend!

It feels like Fall!

Well, fall is definitely here. I woke up freezing this morning and the weather guy said it is 48 degrees outside! Yikes! It seems like only yesterday it was 80 degrees outside …oh wait, that was yesterday. I guess I might have to stop wearing shorts soon….not! For those of you that know me, I wear shorts almost year round. I live for comfort. Well, this card reminded me of fall. THis gorgeous card was created by my friend Christy Schroeger (one of Kimberly’s downline). I love the leaves on here that she made using the Sizzix Big Shot die. Love that machine! I think that is my most favorite thing that Stampin Up has ever had available. If you don’t have one yet, you need to put that on your Christmas wish list.

A Cardinal Christmas

I just had to post one more today. I LOVE this card! This one was created by my friend Cheryl Adams. She is another one of the many talented demonstrators who did my swap. I am lucky to have so many talented friends who share their ideas. That is one thing about Stampin Up demonstrators….we love to share ideas and copy each other! It makes stamping so much more fun when you see what cool things everyone else is doing!  I hope you enjoy this card as much as I do!
