DCBD challenge #102

This is my 2nd design challenge for the Diva Coffee Break Design group. It is supposed to say #102 in the 1st photo but I couldn’t edit it so let’s just pretend that it does.  We had to use the 5 colors given to create any card we wanted, so I chose one that I have been demoing this month and just changed the colors. How easy peasy is that?  And, here is the card that I came up with…..drum roll please…….

For the cardstock, I used close to cocoa, so saffron, bravo burgundy, and always artichoke (regular and DSP). For the ink, I used the baby wipe technique for the leaves with ink refills in cameo coral, so saffron and bravo burgundy. The Season of Friendship set is one of my favorites now. You can do so much with it! I hope you like my card. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. Why don’t you try the challenge for yourself and see what you can come up with??  Tune in next Wed. to see what my next challenge will be. Also, don’t forget to click on the link in my sidebar (under the coffee cups)  to see what all the other Coffee Break Divas came up with. I am sure you will love them!

My Downline swaps!

I recently hosted a swap with my downline and thought I would share some of them with you. I have some very talented downline in my group. These cards were made by Sue Bjorgaard, Lisa Rapacki, and Carol Reid. I will share more tomorrow. It is hard to see all of the bling from the glitter in the photos but they are all beautiful.

Create a Calendar- Easy Peasy!

This is a cute gift idea that I made from the "Create a Calendar Kit" in the Holiday mini. It is on pg 3 and is a bargain at only $7.95. You could make one of these for each of your friends or co-workers.  The kit comes with everything you need to make this project. You can also get our 3 section clipboards from the big book and make it even more fancy if you like. The possibilities are endless with a little imagination. The bottom photo shows the calendar pages that fit inside.

DCBD Challenge #101

I was recently asked to join a group of talented demos called the "Diva’s Coffee Break Designs BLOG TEAM". Each week we are assigned a card design challenge and have to come up with a card using that design. Here is the blank sketch and then underneath that is my card. I used the Upsy Daisy set and the Chocolate chip DSP to create this one. Check out the other girls in this group. Their blogs are listed in my sidebar under the coffee cup.  Why don’t you give this design challenge a try and see what you can come up with??

I figured I better throw in a card here with all the people pictures! THis is a card from one of the display boards that were all around the room. I can’t take credit since I didn’t make it. But, I thought it was so pretty I had to take a picture.
