I made one of these for my Sam and one for my roommate. My Sam is a wonderful girl named Terri who works at Stampin’ Up and takes great care of me. She is like my own personal helper. Whenever I have a problem or need help with something, she is always there to take care of it for me. My roommate is also named Terri and she is a wonderful girl too! I am posting this after I get there so they won’t see it til after I have given it to them.
These are the cards that I put inside the box….I hope they like them! They are made with the new Simple Friendship set coming out in the new catalog.
More Leadership gifts
Here is another gift that I made for some of my Leadership friends. This one is a monogrammed portfolio set.
Here is a view of the inside. I used the Lovely Letters set and the Urban Garden paper. The folder is a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock folded up. I hope they like them!
Winner of blog candy! and I am off to Florida!
Hey everyone,
The winner of this past week’s blog candy is Rebecca Weil! She wins that cute card tin and stamp set. Thanks to everyone who posted comments. I loved reading all of them.
I am leaving for Orlando for the Leadership conference so I will not be posting much while I am gone….. I will be too busy having fun! I will be doing another blog candy giveaway as soon as I return though. Here is one of the gifts I made for some of my friends at Leadership. I got the new Rooster hostess set and couldn’t figure out what to do with it but it fit just perfectly on these little notepads I got from the Dollar store. I used that Raspberry tart paper on these too.
Gift from a friend….
My good friend and Stampin’ UP convention/ leadership roomie Terri Mongeon sent me this adorable gift. It is a cute tote bag filled with the Season of Friendship cards and matching envelopes. There was one card for each season. I just love it! I am so sad to see this set go. I am really hoping it will make it into the big catalog later this month but I won’t find out til Wednesday when I get the new catalog at Leadership! I am so excited to go to Orlando to see all of my friends from all over the country. It is like a family reunion every few months when we all get together. I met Terri at the Stampin’ UP Leadership conference several years ago and we became instant friends. That is my favorite part about being a Stampin’ Up demonstrator….all of the friends I have made over the years.
These are the matching envelopes!
Valentine Mailbox….look what’s inside….
I am having so much fun playing with this new Love You Much bundle….I have had a week off since Christmas to just play and make swaps for Leadership. I had a couple of these mini mailboxes left over from last year ( they were in the $$ bin at Target…my favorite store!). Anyway, I thought the Candy Lane paper would look great on one and I was right! Isn’t this adorable…..but wait…there’s more…..open the mailbox to see what is inside……
These cute little love notes fit perfectly inside the mailbox. THey are 3×3 size. I would love to do a class with these this year but I am sure Target will be sold out of them by the time I get there. For the mailbox, I used a 4×12 sheet of DSP and made a template out of scrap paper to punch the 1/2 inch circle to go around the flag. I had to punch out a few to get it positioned just right and then I laid that one over the DSP to punch the circle and then snip it so that the paper just slides in right around your flag. I hope that makes sense.
Raspberry Tart!
I had no idea what to do with our new Raspberry Tart DSP because I didn’t really like it for cards (it is a little on the wild side for me) so I was trying to think of a 3D project I could use with it and then I saw the box of Kit Kats in my stamp room and decided to make a bunch of them for Leadership swaps. All you have to do is cut the DSP into 4 6×6 pieces and each of these covers a full size Kit Kat perfectly. Then I crimped the ends and wrapped with our ribbons and plopped a scallop punch from our new Love You Much bundle on top and Voila! These are super easy and who doesn’t like a pretty piece of chocolate?

Here is the close up view of one of them….for the scallop, I stamped the image on pink pirouette and vanilla and punched them out. I punched out the center of the pink piece using the 3/4 inch circle punch and then cut the heart out of that piece so I didn’t have to stamp it an additional time.
