Stamp camp sneak peek!

Here is one of the projects we are doing at stamp camp this month. We are making 5 projects including this adorable gift card tin. I bought the tins at Michael’s in the checkout lane. THen I decorated it with the Parisian Breeze DSP (sniff , sniff….which will be gone in 2 weeks) I punched out a couple of our beautiful butterfly dies to accent the top also. If you would like to come to this class, just click on my calendar at the top of my blog for the dates.

Beautiful Butterflies!

This is one of the cards I am doing in my clubs this month. I am soooooo going to miss this Parisian Breeze DSP. It is my FAVORITE one! It has my favorite color combos all rolled into one. I hope one day they bring this baja breeze back.  It goes so well with chocolate chip.  This is a super easy card I made with our exclusive Stampin Up Beautiful Butterflies big shot die. It is so easy to add that extra touch with these butterflies (and no cutting is needed!).

More Bella Birds cards!

Here are a couple more cards I made from the Bella Birds DSP. They are so quick and easy and you can mix and match almost any of the papers together.  I can’t wait to try this with the Parisian Breeze DSP. That one is definitely my favorite.

Bella Birds designer paper goes a looooooong way!

I was going through all of my stamping things that are going to retire and I had about 25 stamp sets and about 8 packs of our designer series papers. I figured since I had a couple of days with nothing big planned, I would see how many cards I could make from one pack. So, I started with the Bella Birds paper since I LOVE this one. (I am really going to miss the pink pirouette.) So, I cut a stack of whisper white in half, then I took a few sheets of pink pirouette, chocolate chip, and so saffron and cut them all at 5 1/4 by 4. THen I took the whole pack of Bella Birds DSP and cut those at 5 x 2. Then I grabbed some ribbons, our Oval All set and some scraps and a couple of ink pads.  So, I started assembling, and assembling and assembling…..for 2 straight days! I finally just stopped because I was getting tired of making them, but I did get 67 cards made with several pieces left over. I figured out that you can make 84 of these cards from one pack of designer series paper…..any one will do. Just mix and match. You get 14 pieces  (or 7 cards) from each piece of paper. Cut it at 5, then 5 again and you will have a 2 inch strip left over to get the extra 2 pieces from. So, here is what I came up with……

I just threw them all on the floor to take the picture!

And here are several of the samples. I will post more each day. I think I had about 12 or so different ones.

Cheers to you !

Here is really cute card made by my good friend Debbie Wilson. She is a hoot and as my friend Colleen said, this stamp set was made for Debbie. I can’t believe I haven’t bought it yet. What was I thinking?? It is so perfect for so many occasions. You can find this set on pg 62 in the Stampin Up catalog. It is called "Cheers to You" and is a bargain at only $17.95. The lemons are from the "Tart and Tangy" set on pg 123.

Father’s Day gift card holder

It’s shoebox swap time again. My upline, Melissa Ellis, created this project that we all got to make. It is a Father’s Day gift card holder made out of an envelope. The first picture shows the front and the 2nd picture shows the inside. It is pretty easy to make and it is a card and a gift all in one.  We used the Just Beachy set from the Stampin’ Up Occasions mini.

Sneak Peek at some new Stampin UP items!

I finally got a chance to go through my box of NEW Stampin’ Up goodies that arrived the other day and I love the new ribbons and markers in the In Colors!  Here is a picture of the new 8 1/2 by 11 textured in colors also! The polka dot ribbon is gorgeous! I can’t wait to start playing with everything. As demonstrators, we got to order these new items a month before everyone else, plus we got an additional discount on many of them. It is great being a Stampin Up demonstrator!!! That is just one of the many perks. These will be available to customers starting July 1st.

Gorgeous framed art

We had another birthday celebration at my house the other day….it was Sandy’s and Colleen’s birthdays this month so we had a double birthday bash. This framed art was Sandy’s gift to Colleen. It is just stunning.  I wish I could find some frames like this to copy the idea. Sandy used 2 of my favorite sets to create it too….Fifth Avenue Floral and Great Friend. I just love it . They both got some fabulous gifts so I will be sharing more pics in the next week.

PS….my surgery went very well and I am doing great. Thanks for all of the emails and prayers that many of you sent my way.
