« Previous Entries Next Entries »Just a couple more of my faves….
I had a couple more swap pics to show you. These were 2 of my favorites! I loooooooove that new Medallion stamp and the clock on top of it is just gorgeous! I don’t know who made it, but I love it! The cake one is really cute too. The last picture is of me and my best friend Kimberly Van Diepen. We both were in the top 10 this year for demo of the year (she was #2 and I was #8). I thought this was a great picture of us up on the big screen as we went up on stage for one of the marches. I think this one was for promotions in your downline. Convention was such a blast this year. I hated to have to leave all of my friends after such a great week. The good part is I will get to see most of them again next month at the Stampin Up Founder’s Circle retreat in St. George Utah.

More convention swaps!
Here are some more swaps from our Stampin Up convention. These were some of my favorites that my roomie Terri got. I still haven’t even taken pictures of the ones that I got! Life is just too hectic sometimes. Trying to catch up after being gone for a week is hard. Hopefully I will get some stamping time in later this week.

Downline meeting photos
I had my downline meeting on Thursday after getting back from convention. I was so excited to share everything with them. I brought back lots of prizes and gifts for everyone. I also brought a cake that said "Glitterchicks Rock". THat is the what I call our team (the glitterchicks). I wanted to celebrate my earning #8 since it was really a team effort. I couldn’t have done it without my awesome downline and customers. After going through all the business tips from convention, we sat down to do a shoebox swap.

Here is the yummy cake…only buttercream icing for me of course!

Here is the gang. We are meeting in the hallway at my church. That is the only place we could get the tables to fit longways. Hopefully one day I will need 4 or 5 tables to fit everyone!

This is Brenda’s project….love it! She used the Winter Post set.

This was my card. I used the Razzle Dazzle set. The words are from Matchbox Messages.

This was Tiffany’s project. She got the idea from my friend Kimberly Van Diepen and gave it her own spin. I love the chocolate ribbon on here. I am doing a card very similar to this one in my classes this month.

This was Cyndi’s card. Her original one looked better than mine. I did the sponging a little too dark.

This was Sandy’s card. She used the hostess set Of the Earth. This would have been a great convention swap card. I should have copied it.
MY downline meetings are always a ton of fun. Everyone who comes gets to make all of these great projects. If you would like to be part of my team, now is a great time to join. For $85, you can be a glitterchick too! You can do it for a business or as a hobbyist just to get the discount for yourself. Click on the "join my team" at the top of the screen and check out the details or email me at stampgirl2@cox.net

More pics from convention….
Here are a few more pics from convention. These are swaps that my roomie Terri got and I took pictures of them. I don’t know who made them since I don’t have the originals. I just went through her samples and took pictures of the ones I liked the most.

I love this one with the Movers and shapers big shot die.
Note: I found out this one was made by my friend Robin Merriman!

Another one made with the big shot die….the Big Shot is by far my favorite Stampin Up tool. You can just do so many things with it.

This is my SAM (service account manager) Terri. She works at Stampin Up and makes my life so much easier. Whenever I have a problem, she is always there to help. She is such a sweet person. Once you earn a free trip through Stampin Up, you are assigned your own SAM and it is such a nice perk. It gives you a direct connection to the company and makes you feel extra special!

This is Terri and I at Debbie McNeil’s get together. These are gourmet cupcakes that were so yummy!

This is me, Debbie (one of my fabulous downline) and my roomie Terri out for a wonderful dinner at Cafe Molise.

Here is a pic from the top ten demos of the year on stage. That is me in the back and my best friend Kimberly Van Diepen to the right and Shelli to her right. Joanne Wiemers and Dawn Rapsas are in front. Dawn was #1, Kimberly was #2 and I was #8 and I think Joanne was #6. We all had a great year and I can’t wait to see all of my friends at the Founder’s Circle retreat next month. It is such a treat getting to spend the week with such an awesome group of women and it is total relaxation! No work, no stress…..just hang out with your girlfriends. Thanks to all of my awesome customers and downline for helping me make the top 10 this year!

Here is a pic from our last day together at convention. It is bittersweet when it comes to an end. You can’t wait to get home, but you hate to leave all of your friends. This is Debbie, me, Kimberly, and Terri just after breakfast.

Quick and easy notepads…

I picked up a bunch of these mini notepads at the Dollar Tree and made up about a dozen of them for convention swaps. They were super quick and easy to make. THis is a gorgeous new set called Greenhouse Garden. It is GORGEOUS! You will have to have it once you see all of the gorgeous cards you can make with it. It is a 2 step stamp set so you get that dimensional look.

More convention swaps!
Here are a couple more swaps I made for convention. I prescheduled this post so I am there now having a great time and my work at home is taking care of itself!

These cards I copied (kind of) from my good friend Lorrie. She did the one in Bermuda bay and suede below…. I changed the color scheme and the designer paper but kept the general idea. I love this set. It is another hostess set called Of the Earth. The designer paper is called Cottage Wall.

Look at my Easy Bake oven! LOL!

I had a shoebox swap at my house the other day and my friend Debbie brought this project. She did get the idea from someone’s blog but she couldn’t remember whose it was so if you are the original creator, let me know and I will link this to your site. I just thought it was so cute. It is made with the matchbox die and a bunch of our punches. THen put a couple cookies in a cello bag and tuck inside. How cute is that??
Note: I found out the original creator is Patti Lee and you can see her post with directions here.
