Couple of recipes to share!

I have already started receiving some yummy looking recipes for my contest so I wanted to share a few that looked really good and also pretty easy in case you are in need of a last minute recipe for those Christmas parties we are all going to in the next couple of weeks. You still have time to enter your favorite holiday recipe to be entered into the drawing for the CHristmas card gift box set. Scroll back a couple of days to check out the recipe contest post.

This one was submitted my Jean Baynor:

Easy Chocolate Pie (Shared with me by a dear friend)
6 Hershey Bars (Melt in bowl in microwave)
8 oz. Cool Whip (Add melted chocolate to cool whip)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (Add to above)
Pour into a graham cracker crust and refrigerate.
HOW EASY IS THAT!!  I have been told it is delicious!  I'll be making one soon!

This one was submitted by Kellie Thorpe:

Here is a yummy recipe :
Oreo Balls
1 package oreo cookies
1 package cream cheese
white bark
Take apart oreo cookies and scrape center into separate bowl.
Mix center filling with cream cheese and set aside.
Crumble up oreo cookies (I put them in a ziploc bag and use my rolling pin).
Mix with cream cheese mixture.
Form balls and place in fridge for hour or two to firm up.
Once firm, melt white bark.
Dip formed balls into white bark and place on wax covered cookie sheet.  Place in fridge.
Once white bark hardens on oreo ball place in sealed container.
Enjoy!!
I think these are a little too sweet for me, so I take out about a quarter of the oreo filling prior to mixing with cream cheese.

Stampin Up Clear Mount Stamps are coming soon!

I am so excited!! Stampin Up has taken the best of both worlds to create these clear mount stamps. They are the same excellent quality rubber stamps they have always had but now the blocks are clear so you can see through them. I just got my first set yesterday and wasn't sure how I would like them but I have to tell you that they are FABULOUS! So easy to use and you can see exactly where you are stamping. These will be available to customers on Jan 5th!

Over the past few years, there has been enormous demand from demonstrators and customers alike for a line of repositionable clear-mount rubber stamps. Well, you asked for it, and now you have it! Starting with stamps in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and the 2010 Sale-A-Bration Brochure, Stampin' Up! now offers our exclusive stamp art in both traditional wood-mount, and the new clear-mount option.

Our new clear-mount rubber stamps are the result of extensive research with the intent to maintain the very best image quality in the stamping industry, while at the same time offering the ease-of-use and storability inherent in repositionable clear-mount rubber stamps.

Clear-Mount Rubber Stamp Features

  • Nine different sizes of clear blocks available individually or as a discounted bundle.
  • Blocks have ergonomic grooves on all four sides for easy grip and traditional wood-mount feel.
  • Stamps and blocks are durable and easy to clean with your Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist.
  • Optional image labels on stamp backs let you decide if you want to see the image through the block or not.
  • Tight die-cutting for easy image positioning.
  • Large clear blocks can be used to create collages or spell words with alphabet sets.
  • Stamps store easily in standard, DVD-type cases with artwork on front and spine, making organization easy.

Garden from the Heart

This is a card my upline Faith made for me. We were messing around trying to come up with some ideas and I thought this one came out really pretty. The outer oval scallop is the Bella Bleu paper. It is colored with the watercolor crayons and the blender pen. I love this new stamp set Garden from the Heart. It will be available to order from the Occasions mini on Jan 5th.

M&M Matchbook treat video tutorial.

Hey stampers,

It is time for another video with me today. Don't laugh but about halfway through taping, the kitchen timer goes off and just keeps beeping. I was making banana bread and didn't realize that it was almost done when I started taping this for the 4th time. I didn't have time to film it all over again from the beginning so I just kept on going so just ignore that beeping. It is not your mind playing tricks on you. One of these days I will master the editing with stopping and starting. Anyway, I hope you like this video.

Here are the measurements….

kraft 3 x 8 1/2, scored at 3 3/4 and 7 3/4

christmas cocoa 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 , and 1 x 7

Way cool Christmas gift idea!

One of my very talented downline, Sandy Alexander, showed me this awesome Christmas gift idea. She took one of our skinny tins that are on our clearance rack right now and turned it into a gift tag holder. She made little pockets on the inside to hold a bunch of tags. I just thought this was so cute!

Sneak peek at the new Occasions mini!

This is a sneak peek at the new Occasions mini set Vintage Vogue! It is my FAVORITE one out of this mini. It is hard to choose though because there are so many cute ones in there. I stamped the small flowers in versamark on the kraft piece and then I stamped the larger flowers in not quite navy, and the swirly things in soft suede. Then I sponged a little soft suede in the center of those flowers too. This card also uses the Bella Bleu designer paper and kraft, soft suede and not quite navy cardstock. I just love it! I just wish I had more time to play! This stamp set will be available on Jan 5th along with everything else in the Occasions mini!!

Last batch of these recipes….

I hope you all can take one more batch of these recipes. I still have about half of them left but I am getting tired of posting them. On to something else tomorrow. This one was made by my friend Lorrie. At first I was like "where is the recipe?" but if you scroll down to the next picture, you can see that it is hidden in the chimney….very cute idea!

Here is the recipe peeking out from behind the roof.

This one was made by my upline Faith. She used the photo corner punch to make the tree on the side. I hope you have enjoyed seeing all of these cute recipe swaps I got. Tomorrow will be something totally different….like maybe a sneak peek from the new Occasions mini!!!

A few more recipes…..

This first one was made by one of my customers, Kim Andrews. Nice job Kim! These rolls are super good too. I sometimes substitute Pillsbury cinnamon rolls for the biscuits and make them pretty much the same way except I pour melted butter (about 1/2 stick) on them before they go in the oven and  then use the icing that comes with it on top when they come out. You will be in a sugar coma all day.

This one was made by another customer, Kathie Espinoza. She did a great job on this one too.

This last one was made by one of my downline, Mona Bleecker. These rolls sound yummy too.
