Stamp Camp Sneak Peek!!

Next weekend I am having my January stamp camp classes so here is a sneak peek at a couple of the projects. One of my friends gave me a similar notebook a while back so I traced the pattern from that. I have seen the pattern on several different blogs though. This is made with our THoroughly Modern folders. Once you figure out how to cut it, they are easy to make.

Here is a close up of the pretties kit flower and the scallop circle.

Here is a view of the inside of the folder. You could also tuck a pen inside with velcro.

When you cut the folders to make the notebook, you are left with about a 3 1/2 inch strip and I started to throw these away and then I thought there had to be something I could make them so I made these little post it note holders. I put a half of a postit pad in each one so it wasn't too thick.  Super quick and easy project.

A couple of Shelli’s ideas

One of my favorite things about going to convention and leadership is watching the awesome projects that Shelli demos on stage. She loves Vintage and so do I, so I always love anything she shows. Here are a couple of her projects. I just love the scrapbook page. It is made with my very favorite set too!  One of these days I am going to get my photos all done and I would love to copy this page. The other sample is a gift tag for Mother's Day or for a mom's birthday. I know most people feel like I do about Shelli….you would just love for her to come stay at your house and stamp with you for a week. Well, a few lucky winners will actually get a chance to live that dream by having Shelli come to their house and do a workshop with them. Shelli is offering the Workshop of a Lifetime to a few lucky demos. Whoever recruits the most people by the end of the month wins! That would just be so cool!  If you would like to join my team, just let me know. I would love to have you.

A few of my favorite swaps!

I am posting just a few of my favorite swaps from Leadership. These are actually some of my roommate Terri's swaps that I took pictures of so I don't have the names of who made them. If one of these is yours, let me know and I will add your name on here. Loved these cards. Of course almost any card with that Vintage Vogue set will be one of my favorites. Can you say Gorgeous??? I love that set!

Note: This top card was made by my good friend Cheryl Flynn and I didn't even know it! I love it. Great job Cheryl!

Hope you all are having a fabulous day. I will post more tomorrow. I have my downline meeting tonight so I have to go prepare for that….I am so far behind!

Pics from Leadership

Here are a few pictures from Leadership….these are just a few of the many friends that I have made being a Stampin Up demo all these years. I can't wait to go to Stampin Up events to see all of my friends from everywhere in the country. Stampin Up is such a great company to work for and the friendships I have made here will last a lifetime. The 1st one is my awesome roommate Terri and I.

Here is me with my great friend Kimberly Van Diepen.

This is my awesome friend Cindy Petersen. She always makes me smile!

These are pics from the Managers Receptions. Our table was set up so nice, I had to take a picture.

Here is Kimberly getting down!

This is my good friend Max who is also a Sam at Stampin Up. She always keeps everyone laughing.

Here are Max, Christie and Cindy acting silly!

I promise to show stamping ideas from Leadership tomorrow.

Vintage Vogue meets Valentine’s Day

Here is a different look for the Vintage Vogue set. I never would have thought to use it for a Valentine's Day card but my upline Melissa made this card for a swap I was in and I just love it. To get that lace look, just take a strip of 1 1/2 by 11 inch strip of cardstock and do any border punch along one edge. THen run it through your Stampin Up crimper a couple of times to soften it up and then put a line of sticky strip along the top of the back side of it. As you lay it down, you keep folding a little bit over the layer before it and it gives you that cool look. The hearts are punched out with the Stampin Up Full Heart Punch.

Garden From the Heart

Here is a gorgeous card made by my good friend Tami White. I love how she did the background with the Big Shot die. The watercolor in the hat is gorgeous too. This is my 2nd favorite set in the new Stampin Up Occasions mini! The first is Vintage Vogue!

PS…so many people have emailed asking about the technique. Just brayer the color onto the textured plate and then add your paper and run it through the Big Shot. The ink will only go onto the flat areas, not the raised part.

Vintage Lace

I just can't get enough of this Vintage Vogue set. It is my very favorite set in the Stampin Up Occasions mini. Every card I see if so pretty. This one was made by my good friend Cindy Petersen. I love how she made that lace out of the cardstock there on the bottom.

And More Quilt Purses!

Here are the 2nd batch of purses that I made. I love this brown fabric. It is so yummy! I haven't tried washing any of these yet to get that shabby chic look but I might try it after I get back from Leadership. This is the bag I am taking to Leadership in case any of you see me there. THese are so easy to make with the Stampin Up Big SHot! It goes through 8 layers of fabric at a time.
