Love the view on this one…

Another one of my fabulous downline (Debbie Keane) made this awesome card. It just reminds me of a sunset on the beach. It looks like a painting or something. I am so proud to have such talented downline.  I am showcasing a bunch of their creations this month.

Beautiful Butterfly card

This was a swap card made by Niccole Marshall (one of my fabulous downline). We did a swap at my last downline meeting and got some awesome card ideas. This is just one of them that I loved. I am so proud of my group and what fabulous stampers they are. Niccole used the Stampin Up Beautiful Butterflies die, the Polka dot embossing folder  and the Vintage Vogue stamp set to make this card. I just love it!

Way to use up those scraps….

I was cleaning my stamp room a couple of weeks ago and I found all these bags of old cards with the cardstock cut to make them. The problem is, I didn't have the stamps anymore. They were all retired.  I am pretty good about making the extra cards from clubs at the end of the month but I didn't use to be. I used to take whatever was left at the end of the month, put it in a ziploc bag with the original card and planned to go back later and make them when I had time…..well 5 or 6 years later, they were still sitting there so I decided to make all of the leftover cards using the Vintage Vogue set. All I did was change the colors for each card . Here are a couple of the samples I made but there are lots more with colors I haven't used in forever.

Featured demonstrator of the month…..part 1

I am starting a new thing this month. I wanted to encourage my downline to spread their wings a little so I am going to be featuring one of my downline each month as a demo of the month. They have to make several projects and submit them to me to be featured.  I am very proud to present my first featured demo of the month. Her name is Sandy Alexander and she is a fabulous stamper. I am so excited to have her as part of my downline. Here is her picture. You might have seen her a few days ago on my blog showing off the quilt purse she made at my house.

Here are a few of the awesome projects she has made lately….the first one is a Valentine treat bag made with the Big shot and the Top note die. I love the shabby chic look of this one. I will be showing more of her projects later in the week too.

The next one is a cute owl card that shows off our new polka dot embossing folder from the Occasions mini.

Here is a cute birthday card….sweet and simple.

I love this birdhouse card made with the new bird punch. She also used the pinking hearts border punch for the roof line.

Look at the fun we had at my downline meeting!

I had my downline meeting on Thursday night and we made some really cute projects. I brought a couple projects and several of the girls who came also brought projects. I got the idea for the bag tags from Patty Bennett. She made them at her group meeting and I thought it was a great idea so I copied her!  They got to pick a piece of designer paper from the huge pack of Sweetpea papers. That is a never ending slab of paper if you haven't had a chance to see it up close and personal! You can make so many things with just that one pack. We also used the sweetpea felt flowers to embellish the tags. Sorry the ribbon is kind of covering the second one.

Here is a sweet little notecard I made. I wanted to show the girls that neat flower technique. Too bad I forgot to remember to bring the brads and my hole punch!  I had to give them a homework assignment to go home and finish them! They didn't seem to mind too much!  The directions for the flower are on my Feb 9th post.

This was Niccole's Valentine gift box. It had a pack of sweethearts candy  inside. I included two photos so you could see the front and the top view. This would make a great treat for younger kids to give as Valentine's to their friends.

Here is Melissa's project from the top and the side. She made the box from the square scallop die in the Big Shot! How cute is that? Four Hershey's nuggets fit perfectly inside.

More quilt purses from my downline

I have been showing my downline the quilt bags that  I have been making and several of them came over and made some at my house. A few girls couldn't come and made some on their own so I finally got some pictures of them with their bags last night at my downline meeting. Everyone is loving these bags and they are so much fun to make. Here is Sandy with her cute bag.

Here is Melissa with 2 of the bags she has made. She is definitely the seamstress in the group. She made the giant bag that has I think 66 squares total in it. That is a lot of sewing. She said she could fit several beach towels in it so it is a great beach bag. I think it would be great for a teacher bag or a mommy bag to carry diapers and all that in.

And here is Pam with her cute bag. I love the pink and green together.

Tote-ally Tess

I hosted a swap a while back with some of my good friends and just realized that I forgot to post a bunch of them. This card was made by my friend Christie Daugherty. I just love what she did with Tess. I bought this set and still haven't gotten around to using it. I haven't been in a coloring mood lately I guess, This is such a cute set though. I love how she wrapped the striped ribbon with the polka dot ribbon too. This stamp set is available in the Stampin Up occasions mini catalog.
