Featured Demo of the Month part 2

Here is part 2 of my featured demonstrator of the month. For part 1, just scroll back a few days. This month I am featuring Niccole Marshall and her cute creations. This first one is an adorable gift for a small child for a birthday goody bag or for a classroom gift. I just love the owl punch.

This one is a cute Halloween treat. This one shows the new bat punch and the lace trim ribbon found in the Holiday mini.

Inside you can fit any small treat like this yummy Reese's Peanut Butter cup. That is one of my very favorite chocolate treats. Who doesn't like chocolate and peanut butter together?

Note: Niccole just gave me the dimensions and scoring for the Reeses treat holder

cut 9×4 piece of designer paper and score at 1/2 inch on both sides of 4 inch side

score at 2, 2 1/2, 5 1/2 and 6 on the long side. Then fold up to look like box shown. You will need to cut off the edges of top part and do corner rounding.

Here is a cute little key chain with a mini post it note inside. THese make great little gifts for anyone. I know I am always looking for  a little piece of paper in my purse to write something on.

This last card is so cute. Niccole used the polka dot embossing folder for the background and the Candy Cane Christmas designer paper from the Holiday mini. The stamp set (A Cute Christmas) is also in the Holiday mini.

More Bakery Shop items

Unless you were actually at the recent Stampin' Up convention, It is hard to imagine the Bake Shop displays. They were simply AMAZING!  I have never seen anything like it. I could have stayed there taking pictures all day and I wish we could have done a video of it.  But, since I can't share a video, these pictures will have to do. This first one is the baby carriages filled with candy.  How cute would these be for a baby shower? Don't our new buttons look like life savers?

This one shows off our new "design a house" kit from the Holiday mini.  They are so cool and you can decorate them for any holiday. This one is Christmas, but they would be great for Halloween too!

I am off to Founder’s Circle!!

Hey everyone,

I will be at Founder's Circle in St. George, Utah for the week! It is a fabulous trip that Stampin Up gives to the top 100 demos in the country. This is a group shot of us from last year. I am the one in the front row smack dab in the center (black shirt on). I will come back nice and relaxed and ready to go when I get back. So, I have set up my blog to post a couple of times while I am gone but I probably won't be able to respond to anything til I return. We have limited computer access there. Have a great week!

Quilted Ornament video

I have always wanted to learn how to make these beautiful quilted ornament balls and one of my friends showed me this video on youtube. It was made by a girl named Angie. So, thanks Angie for making this awesome video tutorial. I can't wait to try it myself. Note: Angie (the girl who made the video) emailed me and here is a link to her blog.

Halloween Treat

Here is a super quick and easy Halloween treat to make for your friends. I got the original idea from my downline Debbie Keane. I normally don't do much with Halloween now that my daughter is a senior in high school but when I saw this stamp set (Wicked Cool pg 23 in the big book), I just had to have it. The treat bag is filled with orange slice candy and black licorice pieces from Walmart.

Here is a close up of her feet and I added a little rhinestone to each shoe.

Featured demo of the month part 1

Each month I feature one of my fantastic downline to showcase. This month I am featuring Niccole Marshall. Niccole was one of my very first customers after I became a demonstrator 9 years ago.  She signed up several years ago and has been going strong ever since. Here are a few of the projects that Niccole submitted to me this month……

This first one is a little cork board she found at the dollar store and decorated. How cute is that?

This one is a great back to school gift for the classroom. What child wouldn't want to get something like this?

Day of Gratitude

Gratitude card

This is one of the stamp sets I will be using in my Autumn Spice stamp camp this month. We will be making an adorable folder and 4 (or 5 if I have time) beautiful cards to go inside. The gorgeous flower and leaf designs in rich autumn colors make this card a picture perfect Thanksgiving greeting. Tone-on-tone leaves stamped in the background on a print from our Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Series paper give it a wonderfully-worn look. This is a perfect set for all of your fall cards. The Autumn Spice designer paper coordinates perfectly with this set also. This card is right off the Stampin' Up website. There are lots of great ideas you can find from the website and the catalogs. Of course, your Stampin' Up demonstrator is always the best place to go though.
