Here are a few more samples from Leadership. The first one is using one of my favorite new stamp sets. It is the Nature Walk set from the Occasions mini. These first 2 cards are from my friend Cindy's swaps so I am not sure who made them. Let me know if you are the creator and I will be happy to add your name here.
You just can't go wrong with the new cupcake punch in the Occasions mini. It is so cute no matter how you use it. I love it with the springtime paper.
My friend Kimberly Van Diepen was one of the presenters at Leadership for showing how to use trinkets and this is one of her samples I took a picture of that was posted on the display boards. She is super creative. I wish I could bottle up her creative juices and give them to myself! LOL!
I thought I would show you a couple of my own Leadership swaps…..
These are both quick and easy cards. For both of these cards, I used the Botanical Gazette designer paper from the Stampin Up Occasions mini and the Nature Walk set also from the Occasions mini. I added a little rhinestone bling to the butterflies. I hope you like these.

Here are some more samples I saw at Leadership. I have no idea who made any of these swaps so if you see yours on here, please let me know and I will be happy to give you credit. The first one I thought was so clever. These were some swaps that my friend Cindy got.
This purse was made by one of Tami White's downline (Oksana Semenska). I thought it was so cute I had to take a picture of it. Now I just need to figure out how to make it for myself.
I thought this one was a really cute Valentine card. I am not sure what happened in that bottom corner. I think my pad of paper was sitting there or something. (note: found out this one was made by my good friend Kimberly Van Diepen)
This was a super cute and easily demonstratable card. I love the new cupcake set and matching punch in the Occasions mini. I hope you like these samples. I will try to show more each day.
Here are a few pictures of the display boards that I really liked. THe first one is a gorgeous scrapbook page of Shelli (founder of Stampin Up) and her husband Sterling. It uses my new favorite stamp set Nature's Walk from the Occasions mini. I think anything Shelli makes is simply gorgeous. She does a lot of vintage type stamping which is my favorite.
This one is the American flag made out of our new vintage flower adornments also found in the Stampin Up occasions mini on pg 15. You get 24 of them for only $5.95 and they come in rose red, baja breeze and vanilla. They totally make a card extra special.
This one I thought was so clever. They used our butterfly embosslit from the big catalog and punched them out of all different papers and made a shadow box type display with them. No actual butterflies were harmed in making this project even though they do look real!
This is a cute card that my friend Cindy got as a swap. I am not sure who made it. I was just taking pics of my favorite cards in her stash. This one was made using the new cupcake set and punch in the Occasions mini. The swaps this year were super. I was very happy with the ones I received and I will be posting some of them soon.
Here are me and my roommate (and downline) Debbie. This was at the Irish Pub on our last night. We had a great time but it just went by so fast. The best part of all these Stampin Up events is spending time with all my friends. I miss them all so much when we have to go home.
I finally got a minute to download some pics from Leadership! I have been trying to catch up from being gone and I am pooped!
This year's Leadership conference was in Nashville and it was so much fun. I love going to see all the great things that Stampin Up has planned for us but more than anything else, I love spending time with my friends from all over the country that I don't get to see very often.
This is a pic from inside the Gaylord Opryland hotel where we stayed. It was GORGEOUS! and so big. I think it was by far the biggest hotel I have ever been in.
Our first night out was Manager's Reception at the Wild Horse Saloon. It was really fun. Stampin Up reserved the whole place for us and we had dinner, line dancing and socializing. I am best at the socializing and eating. I am definitely not a dancer. These are just a few pics of me and some friends (BJ, Cheryl and Leasa).
That is me and BJ.
This is Leasa, me and Cheryl. I had to keep my hat on since I wore it long enough to get hat head…no taking it off after that. Stampin Up gave everyone the cowboy hats. They even decorated them with our ribbon and antique brads. You can't see them because my head is not tilted down enough.
This is all of us at the Leadership conference. Tami's flight was delayed because of snow in Boston and she had just joined us.
This is us at dinner at the Irish Pub on our last night. It was hard to say goodbye to everyone.
This is all of us with some of our downline too. My downwline is Debbie in the back row, 2nd from left. This was her first leadership and she had a great time.
Ok, so I had to throw in something that had to do with stamping so here is a really cute bag that someone had made using the Stampin Up designer fabric collection. I just loved it! I wish I could make something this pretty but I am just not that talented in the sewing dept.
The winner of the 2nd set of Just Believe cards is Cyndi Wheeler! Congratulations Cyndi on winning the card set.
Here is what I am doing for January stamp camp this month. Classes are this Sunday the 23rd at 1 and 3:30 or Tuesday the 25th at 10am and 7pm. We are going to take half of the Love Birds Simply Scrappin kit and make all of these cards! You will be amazed at how fast you can put them all together. Cost is $20 and includes all supplies, refreshments and door prizes.
I think this is definitely my favorite new stamp set from the Stampin Up Occasions mini! It is called Nature Walk and can be found on pg 27. I love nature sets and this one is absolutely gorgeous! My good friend Mary Anne Grimmer made this card for a swap I just hosted. She is one fantastic stamper. I wished she lived closer so we could stamp together more. She lives in Charlotte, NC so if any of you live close to her and need a demonstrator, let me know and I will hook you up with her. THere are so many neat components to this card.
Check out this trinket key and mini tag. We now sell these cool keys on pg 24 of the Occasions mini! There are also some other cute things on that page so go check them out!
Well, I am off to Nashville for the Stampin Up Leadership conference (that is if my flight gets out of here today) . THere is a lot of nasty weather on the east coast and a lot of people are having trouble getting there. I hope and pray that I make it.
So, I am leaving you with an awesome card made by my friend Lorrie. She is an amazing stamper and this card was A LOT of work and has a lot of intricate details. She used the stamp set Sew Suite from the Occasions mini (pg 33).
Here is a close up of the sewing machine. She even put thread around the spool and down the front. Hope you enjoy this creative card and I hope you have a great week. See you all when I get back.
