Bye Bye Bliss

I am so sad to see this set go. It is by far my favorite SALE-a-Bration stamp set. Today is the last day you can get this stamp set for free with  a $50 order. Don't miss out! For this card I used the pretty in pink striped ribbon and the first edition newsprint designer paper (cut out with the top note die). I stamped the first stamp in pretty in pink and then stamped the butterfly in black and cut him out. There is a little pearl on the butterfly too.

Beveled Windowpanes are so cool!

This is one of the cards I am doing at my stamp camps this month. I am focusing on the beveled window panes that are available in the Stampin Up Occasions mini until the end of April. They are so cool and once I started playing with them, I just loved them! I don't know why I didn't buy them sooner. You have to have them if you don't already. For this card I used the Clearly for You stamp set also in the Occasions mini. The background paper is called First Edition and I stamped some flowers on there . I used Not quite navy ink and paper also. For the Beveled window pane part, I put sticky strip around the edges of it and then dipped it into the baha breeze glass glitter. I stamped directly onto the windowpane using black stazon first though. Hope you like it!

Featured Demo of the Month (part 2)

Here are some more of the awesome projects that Rachelle created. This first one is a framed art piece using a frame you can pick up almost anywhere. I love how she cut out the opening and put the words kind of set back. Isn't it gorgeous?

This is a really sweet card she made for Valentine's Day. She used the Tiny Tags set and the jewelry punch to create the "LOVE" hanging there.

This one is made with the Greenhouse Gala designer papers that are featured in our big catalog. I love this ribbon technique. It is a favorite of mine.

I think this is my favorite project of all…..another framed art with the Fun Flowers die and more of the Greenhouse Gala papers.  She also stamped the   background using Elements of Style and then colored in the flowers. It is so vintage looking. I just love it.

Here is a close up of the flower part inside the frame.  This Flower die is so popular, it has already sold out and we are waiting for another shipment to come in. Stampin Up can't keep them in stock because they are selling so fast.

Here is another Valentine's card but it really could also be for an anniversary or wedding. It is so simple but also elegant. The background is the En Francais set.

Here is a composition notebook that Rachelle covered in the Elegant Soiree designer papers found on pg 175 in the big  Stampin Up idea book. Then she decorated it with the paper daisies and build a brad. THese would make great gifts for teachers or friends.

Here is a close up of the flowers and the brad and the punched edging. Very nice details that add so much.

Featured Demo of the Month!(part 1)

I would like to introduce you to my March demo of the month, Rachelle Escalanti. Rachelle is one of my incredibly talented downline and she volunteered to be the featured demo this month.

Rachelle has been a demo for less than a year but she is already creating some fabulous projects!

This one is a gorgeous candle that she wrapped in our designer papers and then made a tag for the front using the Bliss stamp set from the sale-a-bration mini. How cute is that?

Here is a close up of that tag on the front of the candle.

Here is a cute tea bag holder that she made out of the scalloped envelope die in the big shot.

This is an adorable calendar made out of a wooden clipboard you can find at a craft store. She covered it in our designer papers and then printed a calendar from the computer.

This is a coaster calendar made out of chipboard coasters and covered with the designer papers.

This last one is a 3×3 notecard made with the Love Letter designer papers. That is one of my favorites. I will post more of Rachelle's projects later this week!

Petal Cone Lollipop

Doesn't this remind you of an ice cream cone? It kind of makes me feel like summertime too! I made these treats for Valentine's Day but since they don't say Happy Valentine's Day on them, they can really be used for any time of the year as a nice treat to give to a friend.  They are super easy to make  as favors for a child's birthday party or classroom treats also. I used the Petal Cone die from the Stampin Up Occasions mini and the red glitter paper also in there. The cardstock is pretty in pink and so is the taffeta ribbon.  The friend heart stamp is from " I Heart Hearts" on pg 46 in the big catalog.

One More Nature Walk card

I just can't stop using this stamp set (Nature Walk). I LOVE IT! It is definitely one of my new favs so it better make it into the next big catalog. It is in the Occasions mini right now and it is so beautiful and versatile. The background paper is from the Botanical Gazette designer paper pack. The colors I used are riding hood red, espresso, and vanilla.
