2017 Incentive Trip
Today I am going to show you how to make an adorable Christmas treat box using the Candy Cane Lane designer series paper from Stampin Up. It is so easy to make that you will want to make a bunch of them as gifts for everyone! For the real red cardstock, I started with a piece that is 5 x 8 1/2 and the belly band is 2×9. I scored both of them at 1 1/2, 4, 5 1/2 and 8. The red piece is also scored at 1 1/2 on the short side. You can see it all in the video!
The only difference between the 2 pics is the house on front and the belly band. I cut the houses out of the candy cane lane paper.
All of the items used are from the Stampin Up Holiday mini catalog on pg 5. The red stitched ribbon is one of my favorite new ribbons. It is so pretty in person.

Here is a card that I recently did in one of my classes. I used the Star of Light stamp set and matching thinlits found on pg 9 in the Holiday mini catalog. I love, love, love the swirly stars stamp in that set. It is so pretty. I did the whole card in night of navy and then punched out the top star in silver glimmer paper. It looks so pretty in person. The picture really doesn’t show the sparkle. It is a super easy card….the hardest part is cutting out the stars which is really pretty easy. I found that if I punched out the glimmer paper upside down, it cut easier.

Anyone who orders at least $50 will get 4 free stamped cards from me and be entered into a drawing to win a $50 gift card. Use hostess code 9NHC9VQ4

Today I hit a huge milestone! I just put in an order that put me over 1/2 Million $$ in sales for Stampin Up! I could not have done this without the help of God and all of my wonderful customers over the years. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! YOU ALL ARE AWESOME!
Here is how I did it….It has taken me 15 years but I finally did it. My journey started back in 2001 when I was still a high school math teacher. I started stamping as a hobby to relieve my stress. I loved it so much, and was doing so many parties that I was making almost as much as I was teaching! A year later I actually quit teaching to do Stampin Up full time. It was the best decision I ever made. I was able to stay home with my daughter for over 10 years and work from home having stamping parties. I loved it! I earned 9 free trips to amazing destinations, met so many wonderful people that are still my friends today, and I was in the top 100 demos in the country for 6 years straight.
I would love to still be doing Stampin Up full time, but life happened, and I got divorced about 5 years ago. I had to go back to a regular full time job to pay the bills and get health insurance. Life was now totally different as a single mom. Now I do Stampin Up as much as I can and still hold about 6-9 classes a month in my home. My goal is to eventually be able to get my business back to where it used to be. That is where I need your help!!!!
I am so close to earning the trip of a lifetime this year to Thailand. I am only a couple of thousand dollars in sales away from it but the time period is up in 2 weeks, so if you need any stamping products, please put in an order before the end of the month. Stock up on paper, ink, ribbon, adhesive, accessories, Christmas card supplies, etc. Just click on my shopping cart to your right. Plus as a free gift, I will send everyone who orders at least $50 a pack of 4 hand stamped cards from me! And I will pick one winner from all of the people that order to win a $50 shopping spree from me!! Please Use hostess code 9NHC9VQ4 when you order. Or you can email me your order too. If you are local and want to let me order for you and pick up your order here, I will add an extra gift to your order too! Thanks so much for reading my story and I hope you all have a great day and thanks again for being awesome customers and friends!

Are you getting in the mood for Christmas yet? I know Halloween hasn’t even gotten here yet but I am ready to start making Christmas projects.
Today I want to show you this great Christmas card kit from Stampin’ Up. It comes with almost all of the supplies to make 18 adorable Christmas cards. All you need in addition are a couple of ink pads, the Stitched with Cheer stamp set, adhesive and scissors. This kit will give you the jump on your holiday cards and you might even want to get 2 or 3 kits to make it even easier for you. Plus if you have kids, these kits are great to let them help you too!
I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I know it is a very hard day for many people as we remember those who lost their lives on this day 15 years ago. I think most of us remember exactly where we were and what we were doing that day when the towers fell. It is hard to believe it has been 15 years. It seems like it was just a couple of years ago. It is a solemn reminder that our life here on Earth is short and we need to enjoy every minute we have with the ones we love. So, spend time with your friends and family and do things you love to do. The dirty dishes and the laundry can wait til later.
I have a cute video from Stampin Up to share with you today. This one is showing off the Cheerful Tags framelits and matching stamp set. These two paired together will help you make some great and unique Christmas gifts. The tags set and our new giant cello bags work perfectly with bottles of wine or other bottles to create that perfect gift for almost everyone on your list. So, take a couple minutes to watch the video and start making your Christmas wish list for what you want to get to make your gift giving easier.
I hope you are having a great Labor Day weekend and not having to deal with the tropical storm here on the East Coast. It is a gloomy day out, so I thought I would make another video. This is a quick and easy Christmas card using the Floral Boutique designer paper. I have all of the dimensions and details in the video. If you can’t tell from most of my posts lately, this Floral Boutique paper is one of my FAVORITE things in the new catalog. I have many, but this is definitely at the top of my list.
I hope you enjoy the video and if you like it, please subscribe to my youtube channel and to my website. If you would like to order any of the items in the video or anything else in the Stampin Up catalog, just click on the shopping cart in the right sidebar. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
