Only a couple of days left til Halloween, and I thought I would share a couple of Halloween treats that my friend Lorrie created. The first one is using our clear 2×2 boxes which can be found on pg 176 in the big catalog. The decorations around the box are from the Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies on pg 52 in the holiday mini.
The second project is made using the 2×8 treat bags from the big catalog also on pg 176, the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set on pg 53 in the holiday mini, the Ghoulish Grunge stamp set on pg 52 in the holiday mini and the Cable Knit textured embossing folder on pg 13 of the Holiday mini. I am so excited! I got the cutest birthday card in the mail today from Shannon West at Stampin Up! What a great start to my birthday week! Hope you all have a great day!
I have a super quick and easy Christmas card to show you today! I created a video to show you how I did it, but here are some of the details…. I used the Father Christmas stamp set and early espresso ink to stamp the images. Then I sponged it in soft suede. I stamped all of the images at the same time but putting them on one block. To see how, check out my video.
Hope you enjoy the video. If you would like to purchase the items shown here or any other Stampin Up products, just click on my shopping cart to the right. Please use hostess code 7CZVFSKG . What a crazy couple of days! The weathermen here on the east coast of VA told us we were in the clear and might get a little rain from hurricane Matthew, but boy were they wrong! I guess the path changed at the last minute and came up farther north and more inland than expected and we got over 15 inches of rain in just a few hours and winds up to 80 mph! Most of us weren’t really ready for that since they pretty much said it was going to make a U-turn and head back south again. Gotta love those weathermen. Luckily, I had already moved my patio furniture in a few days ago. I didn’t have much damage except for a few tree limbs down and a swimming pool full of leaves but I have seen lots of flooding in our area and lots of trees down and power outages. They had to cancel our church services today because of no power. Luckily I could watch good old Joel Osteen this morning to get my worship on.
So, I hope and pray that all of who were in the path of Hurricane Matthew this week are ok. I am glad that he is gone!
Now let’s get to a stamping project….
So this card really captures how I feel today….thankful, grateful, and blessed because I am alive and well and survived the storm with minimal damage. We all go through storms in life. They say you are either going into a storm, you are in a storm or you are coming out of storm in your life. I feel so blessed because I feel like I have made it through so many storms in my life and because of God, I am made stronger. No one likes going through the storms but just know that a brighter tomorrow is coming soon. It will get better. And no matter how bad your storm may be, I can bet there is someone who is going through something way worse. So, be thankful for what you have and thank God everyday for the blessings in life. You never know what tomorrow may bring but keep the faith that it will all work out. Have a blessed day!
For this card, I used the Petals and Paisleys Designer paper, the Paisleys and Posies stamp set, the Paisley Framelit dies, and the ribbon from the ribbon trio pack…all can be found on pg 47 in the Stampin Up Holiday mini.

It’s snowing! Well, not really….it’s really raining as the outer bands of Hurricane Matthew touch VA, but my card is snowing!
I combined 2 different stamp sets to create this beautiful snowflake card. I stamped the larger snowflake from Frosted Medallions (pg 37 in the Holiday mini) using bermuda bay ink and then I stamped the smaller snowflake from the Tin of Tags set (pg 33 in the Holiday min) using rich razzleberry ink. I sponged a little pool party in the center. Then I stamped the gorgeous grunge speckle stamp all over in bermuda bay too. I added the rhinestones for a little sparkle. Hope you like it.

Can you believe fall is here already and Christmas is just around the corner! Wow, where does the time go? I feel like it was just spring a couple of weeks ago. Well, I have been making lots of Christmas cards so I thought I would share a couple with you.
For this card, I used the Candy Cane Lane designer paper which you can get on sale this month and I used the Candy Cane Christmas set. I stamped the peppermints in real red onto the real red cardstock. The merriest wishes is stamped in black. The house is cut out of the candy cane lane paper. No stamping there. You can’t see it in the picture but I added wink of stella to the roof and chimney for a little sparkle. The circle and scallop circle are cut out using the layering circle framelits.
Hope you like it. Please leave me a comment if you like. If you would like to order the items for this card or anything else, just click on the shopping cart to the right. Use code 7CZVFSKG . All online orders over $50 will get 4 hand stamped cards from me in the mail!
Have a great day and if you are on the East Coast, be safe. Hurricane Matthew is coming this way, but hopefully we won’t get too much damage here.
