Merry Christmas!

I hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday! I thought I would share the projects that I did with all of my clubs this month.

I got the idea for this gift bag from Angie Juda’s blog here . We made these at each club and I gave everyone a bag of my homemade Christmas candy to put inside of it, although pretty much everyone ate the candy before we finished the project! The stamp set is from the Country Living special and I cut out the front and back pieces for the bag using the Top note die in the Big Shot.

This was an ornament I made using a coaster, our Ski Slope DSP, the snow flurries,  and our chipboard frames. These are super easy to make. We sponged the frames with close to cocoa craft ink, glued the paper to the coaster, trimmed it and sanded the edges. The snowman is from Punch Pals and we stamped him on watercolor paper and then colored him. The snowflake is attached with a glue dot and then covered in glitter. I love that twine for hanging the ornaments. You can unravel it to give it a totally different look.

This last project was a birthday card I received from my good friend Kimberly Van Diepen. She always does such gorgeous cards and when I showed the card to my customers, they were all begging me to make it in class. The daisies are stamped in white craft and embossed with irridescent ice. THe butterflies are stamped in close to cocoa, cut out and then stamped with the versamark pad and embossed with irridescent ice also. They all loved the card and most of them didn’t want to give it away because it was too pretty to part with.

DCBD Challenge #101

I was recently asked to join a group of talented demos called the "Diva’s Coffee Break Designs BLOG TEAM". Each week we are assigned a card design challenge and have to come up with a card using that design. Here is the blank sketch and then underneath that is my card. I used the Upsy Daisy set and the Chocolate chip DSP to create this one. Check out the other girls in this group. Their blogs are listed in my sidebar under the coffee cup.  Why don’t you give this design challenge a try and see what you can come up with??

Here is another one!

I received this beautiful candy/flower birthday bouquet from one of my downline (Sue Sansoucy). I just love this! It is just so cute. SHe also made this adorable pin wheel card to go with it. I have all of these on display in my stamp room. I wish my birthday came more than once a year!

More cool gifts!

Here are some more neat gifts that I received….these are from my friend (and downline) Sandy Alexander. She knows my favorite chocolates are those Ghirardelli ones filled with caramel so each gift item was filled with them!! Who wouldn’t love that?? The one on the far right is a purse made out of a lunch bag. It is hard to tell from the picture.

Awesome birthday gifts!

I just had to share some of the handstamped gifts I received for my birthday. I have some super awesome (and very talented) friends. These were all made by my friend Lorrie Reid (also a SU demonstrator).  I loved the tin and it was filled with cards! What an awesome gift!!  I will be posting more pictures this weekend. SHe also gave me the little jar filled with Hershey’s kisses. Both were made with that gorgeous Haiku paper.

More birthday cards!

My good friend Angie Oakes sent me this birthday card all the way from Japan. I love how she made the vase from the large oval punch. What a cute idea!  Angie is actually the one who  got me hooked on stamping about 8 years ago! Then I signed up to be a demonstrator and several years later I talked her into signing up under me!

This one was sent to me from my good friend (and convention roomie) Terri Mongeon. You might know her from that fabulous presentation she did with Jaron Winder at Convention. She is so much fun and I love this card and stamp set!

Another awesome bday card!

Here is another awesome bday card I received. It is hard to tell from the picture, but it is an accordion fold card and the flowers pop out when you open it. THis one was made by another one of my talented downline , Elizabeth Velazquez.. Great job Elizabeth!

Think Spring!

We are having a really dreary, chilly, just plain yucky day here so I wanted to post a card that made me think of warm sunny weather.  THis is one of my favorite cards that I made a while back. It is the Pretty Peony set and the En Francais background stamp. You can’t see the glitter on the flower in the scan…it looks a lot better in person. I hope you like it though.
