For this month's stamp camp, I am doing Christmas in May! I can't wait til July since this Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin kit might be retiring next month. This is a great kit for making LOTS of Christmas cards. We will be using just half of the kit and will make 10 full size cards and 8 notecards. This class is for my local customers only but don't worry, I hope to have a tutorial done in the next couple of weeks for those of you who don't live close by!

I know I have been pretty bad about posting the last week or 2 but I have been spending time with my family. I wanted to post a few Christmas pics that I took. To say that our family likes to cook is an understatement. My husband Chris is the head chef in our family and my daughter Lindsey is taking culinary as an elective this year so she got her dad a chef's uniform as a gift and had it embroidered with "Chef Dad".

My husband and my daughter Lindsey got me a Kitchenaid mixer for Christmas but guess who was the first person who got to use it? I think there was an ulterior motive there.  THis is Lindsey making rolls FROM SCRATCH! They were sooooo good too!

This is a picture of them as they were still rising. They smelled so good….nothing like fresh bread baking. She is a perfectionist so she scooped them all out with a mini ice cream scoop to make perfect balls.

Here is my award winning apple pie! Oooooh was it good heated up with ice cream on top. I am the baker in the family and make tons of goodies for all of our friends, family and neighbors. I should have taken pictures of all of the trays I made before I gave them away….3 straight days in the kitchen.

This is my sweet little angel. I only have one more year til she leaves to go to college. I get sad just thinking about it. She is such a sweet girl.

This adorable calendar frame gift idea is from my friend Lorrie. This was her project at one of our recent shoebox swaps. I love the Christmas Build a Bear girl. It is made on a metal frame that came from Target and the bear has a magnet on the back of it so you can stick her anywhere.  The calendars are made on the computer or you can use those ones from vippies.com.  Paper is Merry Moments DSP.

It is time for another video with me today. Don't laugh but about halfway through taping, the kitchen timer goes off and just keeps beeping. I was making banana bread and didn't realize that it was almost done when I started taping this for the 4th time. I didn't have time to film it all over again from the beginning so I just kept on going so just ignore that beeping. It is not your mind playing tricks on you. One of these days I will master the editing with stopping and starting. Anyway, I hope you like this video.

One of my very talented downline, Sandy Alexander, showed me this awesome Christmas gift idea. She took one of our skinny tins that are on our clearance rack right now and turned it into a gift tag holder. She made little pockets on the inside to hold a bunch of tags. I just thought this was so cute!

This one was made by my upline Faith. She used the photo corner punch to make the tree on the side. I hope you have enjoyed seeing all of these cute recipe swaps I got. Tomorrow will be something totally different….like maybe a sneak peek from the new Occasions mini!!!

This first one was made by one of my customers, Kim Andrews. Nice job Kim! These rolls are super good too. I sometimes substitute Pillsbury cinnamon rolls for the biscuits and make them pretty much the same way except I pour melted butter (about 1/2 stick) on them before they go in the oven and  then use the icing that comes with it on top when they come out. You will be in a sugar coma all day.

This one was made by another customer, Kathie Espinoza. She did a great job on this one too.

This last one was made by one of my downline, Mona Bleecker. These rolls sound yummy too.

Here are some more of my fabulous recipe swaps! I think these all were so fabulous! II can't wait to try some of these recipes. This one was made by my friend Gina Dygert. SHe made the gingerbread man out of punches! How cute is that? The holly leaves are also done with punches. I think it is the oval punch and then you take it and punch out little arcs around the edge using the oval punch again.

This one is mine! I actually got this recipe from my friend Cyndi a few years ago and I have been making it ever since. It is great. I love Christmas because I make all of these good treats that I never have all year long. It is like Edy's peppermint ice cream! That is one of my favorites but you can only get it during November and December if you are lucky. Our grocery store sells out of it as soon as they get it in. That and egg nog should be available year round!

This one was made by my friend Norma Jones. She is the one who did that stromboli one a couple days back too. Her snowman is also made out of punches.  How do people come up with these ideas?? Maybe if I had more time, I could too!

I make a cookie similar to this but we call them Mexican wedding cookies. They are a favorite!
