Super Simple Fall card

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I have been super busy this week. I have had a stamping class almost every day for the past week and sometimes I just get behind. I am sure all of you can relate to that. It has been SUPER WARM here in VA. We broke the record yesterday and hit 87 degrees! It totally feels like summer. If I wasn't so busy, I might even lay out by the pool! It has been nice but the weather is supposed to change tomorrow and be in the 60s again and more fall like. So, here is a SUPER SIMPLE fall card I made for my stamp camp last month. I used the Autumn Spice designer paper and cut it to 4×4 squares. You can make a TON of cards this way in no time. For the flower (from Day of Gratitude), I stamped it in Saffron and then took the chocolate chip marker and colored the edges before it hit the paper. For the ribbon, I laid  a piece of sticky strip down and accordion folded it.

More Autumn Spice and Gratitude….

I just love this Autumn Spice designer paper. I did a whole stamp camp around it this month. I will post those pics in the next few days. This is a card I did for my downline meeting this month. Everyone who came got to make this card and the little matchbook treat that I posted the other day plus several projects that some of my downline brought. This is a super quick and easy card. Just cut your designer paper at 4 x 5 1/4 and stamp the sentiment from Day of Gratitude on scrap paper and punch it out. I layered it by punching out another one of the same punch in old olive and I cut it in half lengthwise, pulled it apart and layered part on the top and part on the bottom so it looks like a different punch but it isn't. Pretty smart, huh?

The ribbon is old olive taffeta and the button is tied on using the linen thread.

Here are some more Day of Gratitude samples from the St. George regional.  I sure hope they keep this set. It is one of my new favorites!

Make sure you buy a pack of the Autumn Spice designer series paper to go along with it. It matches perfectly. Check out the cool waffle paper in the next card….

Gorgeous Gift from Shelli and Gratitude

On our second night at Founder's Circle, we all received this cute little cupcake gift. Well, at first I thought the cupcake was the gift and didn't realize there was actually something inside! THen I picked it up and it was kind of heavy so I opened it and saw……

this beautiful necklace! Then the next morning we found out that Shelli had made them all herself just for us! How cool is that???

It is so pretty and it is extra special since it was handmade by Shelli!  These Simply Adorned pieces make wonderful gifts!

Ok, I had to throw in a couple of cards too. We attended a regional event while we were in St. George and Stampin Up gave us the set Day of Gratitude from the Holiday mini. I had already bought the set but I can always use a spare, especially since I am using it in my stamp camp this weekend. I just love it. These are just a couple of the great samples that were on display there.
