It is Wednesday so that means it is time for anotherDiva Coffee Break design challenge. This week it is another Big SHot challengs which is always my favorite since I use the Bog Shot almost every single day. It is definitely my favorite Stampin Up product.

Here is my card……

I used the Manhattan Flower Impressions folder which I LOVE! It is so versatile and looks great in any color. I copied this technique from Patty Bennett. She has a great step by step video on her blog. I started with a piece of shimmery white cardstock (it is hard to see the sparkles in the photo) and then embossed it using the big shot and the manhattan flower folder. THen I brayered the back side with regal rose and then so saffron and cut it out. These are super easy to make and everyone who comes to my May classes will get to make this one.  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Here is our sketch for this week……

and here is what I came up with…..

For some reason, the picture came out a little dark. I stamped the sanded background onto Pacific point cardstock using pacific point ink. Then I stamped the pocket silhouette flowers in baja breeze onto whisper white cardstock. I layered that onto more pacific point and scalloped edge baja breeze. The sentiment is from our Say it with Scallops Ronald McDonald house charity set found on the back page of the catalog. Stampin’ UP donates $2 from the sale of every set to the Ronald McDonald house charity. This is a super quick and easy card you can make or demo as a make and take. This week’s challenge is a color one….we had to use white, vanilla, gray and black to make our card. The only problem I had was using the vanilla. I really like my card with just the white, gray and black but I did use the vanilla on the sentiment piece. I do think it would have looked better on the white though. I just love the new Manhattan flower embossing folder…..evidently everyone else does too since it is on backorder now. I sure hope Stampin Up comes up with  more of these embossing folders. I also used the Walk in the Park paper and the new oval scallop punch, Oval All set and the organza ribbon. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think . It is time for this week’s Diva Coffee Break Design challenge…. this week’s challenge was to come up with a card using this design……

and here is what I came up with…..

I used the Crazy for Cupcakes set to create my card this week and  I cut out 3 extra cupcakes for the side buttons. I put glitter on each one but it is hard to see in the photo.  Make sure you check out the other diva designers here

This is a card I just made for  a swap I am doing with a bunch of other demo friends. I am also doing this card in all of my clubs this month so if you are in one of my clubs or have a workshop booked this month, you will get to make this one. I used the new stamp set Great Friend from the Occasions mini and stamped the background leaves in the white craft pad. Then the next layer is our Walk in the Park DSP that I punched out with the Top Note die. The flower and pearl are from the pretties kit, and I stamped and cut out the butterfly (sorry, not a punch). This card is really pretty easy to make but gives such a wow! I hope you like it. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think. It is Wednesday and time for another Diva’s Coffee Break Design challenge. Our challenge this week was to make something using the Big Shot. I have a million ideas for that so it was hard to narrow it down to just one.

I have been playing around with the quilt card technique ever since my upline Melissa Ellis showed it to me the other day . I just love how cool this looks.

For this one, I textured the bashful blue piece with the little dot background and then punched out 12 squares with the 1 1/4 inch punch. Then mount those onto a 5 x 3 3/4 sheet of white cardstock. Flip it over and run it through the big shot with the top note die underneath and there you have it. Wrap the finished piece in our yummy organza ribbon and you are all set. The B (for baby) is from the Lovely Letter alphabet. This would make a perfect baby announcement card. and here is what I came up with……

I was pretty happy with this one except I couldn’t fit the ribbon on the top of that piece so I put it in the middle. I used the  FREE sale-abration paper for the center strip over celery and bashful blue. The back piece is so saffron and I stamped the botanical leaves in white craft. The main image is the FREE Botanical Blooms set.  I love it! The ribbon is the bashful blue taffeta. I hope you like it. Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think. This week’s card challenge was a color one. We had to use green galore, tempting turquoise, basic gray, and white to come up with our card. I used one of my old favorites….Bloomin’ Beautiful to do mine.

Here is what I came up with ….

I used the basic gray as my back piece. THen I ran the green galore though the big shot to create the textured background. I stamped the flowers in black stazon and watercolored them in the green galore and turquoise. I hope you like it. I used the new set Font of You on pg 46 in the catalog. It is so cute. I stamped the vase in chocolate chip, sponged it in creamy caramel (since we don’t make a kraft pad) and then cut it out. I should have just stamped it on the kraft cardstock to begin with but I didn’t think about that til I was just typing this. I am having a duh moment! The designer paper is our new Parisian Breeze textured paper. It is so nice. I hope you like it. Here are the measurements for the pieces ….
