This month I finally had a chance to show off our new glassine bags from the Stampin Up Occasions mini pg 19. They are so cute and versatile and only $6.50 for 25 of them. This was one of my stamp club projects. We ran the bags through the big shot first using the Manhattan Flower embossing folder and then we stamped the same flower from Fifth Avenue Floral onto white cardstock, cut it out and sponged it with melon mambo ink. Inside I put a quarter sheet of melon mambo cardstock to hide the treat (M&M's) and to make the embossed flowers pop.  We closed it using the polka dot ribbon and attached the flower with linen thread. This is a really quick and easy gift idea and you can put anything you want inside the bags.

This first project is a tea tin…..how cute is that! It is filled with tea bags and she even decorated the spoon with butterflies.

Melissa made this card with the Spring Song set from pg 102 in the big Stampin Up idea book and catalog.

This is a triangle box she made using the scallop envelope die in the Big Shot.  The flowers are also from a big shot embosslit die.

This card was made with the Fifth Avenue Floral set. Melissa embossed these flowers and then colored them using the aquapainter and refill technique. It came out so pretty.

This last one is a scrapbook page of Melissa's son. I love the colors in this one.

We had another birthday celebration at my house the other day….it was Sandy’s and Colleen’s birthdays this month so we had a double birthday bash. This framed art was Sandy’s gift to Colleen. It is just stunning.  I wish I could find some frames like this to copy the idea. Sandy used 2 of my favorite sets to create it too….Fifth Avenue Floral and Great Friend. I just love it . They both got some fabulous gifts so I will be sharing more pics in the next week.

PS….my surgery went very well and I am doing great. Thanks for all of the emails and prayers that many of you sent my way.

Here is a great card created by my so very talented upline, Melissa Ellis. The Fifth Avenue Floral sets is one of my favorites. I really wanted to do a class with just this set and the Urban Oasis paper but I ran out of time. I think I will have to plan one for next month with some of our new papers.

This one was made using the Crazy for Cupcakes set and the Raspberry Tart dsp along with the Top Note die and the Big shot. I really did not like this paper when I first saw it but now that I have made a bunch of stuff with it, I love it!

This was Melissa’s project for our shoebox swap. I love that Fifth Avenue Floral set. The words are actually rub ons instead of a stamp.

I copied this adorable idea from Connie Stewart. You can see her original project here . It is pretty easy to make and is a great gift idea for anyone, especially teachers. With Teacher Appreciation week and Mother’s Day coming up soon, these would make awesome gifts. The main piece is baja breeze, then I have a strip of Walk in the Park dsp, and I stamped the flowers from Fifth Avenue Floral in basic gray on not quite navy cs and then cut out. The center is dotted with the white gel pen. I typed the name part on the computer and printed that out on cardstock.
