Featured Demonstrator of the Month! (part 1)

It is time for me to show off another one of my fabulous downline again! This month I am featuring Kelly Hogge. Kelly has been a demonstrator for many years and is so talented. She has a full time job at a local school during the day and is a stamper at night.

Here is a picture of Kelly.

And, here are a few of her wonderful projects…..

This card is just gorgeous. She used the new Elegant Lines embossing folder for the background and then stamped the top part with the Always Elegant stamp set on pg. 67. I just love this one.

For this one, Kelly used the Word Play stamp set for the sentiment and then decorated with the Greenhouse Gala designer paper. I love the striped ribbon accent on this one too.

This one is a cute notepad holder made from our new Play Date file folders found on pg 180.

Here is a view of the inside….

This last card is so cute. Kelly used the new owl punch to design this one. I love how she did the pear ribbon also. More samples to come in a few days!

More Creative Fabric Projects

Here are some more awesome fabric projects that Stampin Up showcased at convention. This first one is a journal type notebook that is decorated on the front with the new Deck the Halls fabric. I just love it! The pack of fabric comes with directions to make this book also.

This is a gorgeous Christmas stocking and the directions are also included to make this project.

And I am pretty sure I saw the directions for these coasters also included. There is so much you can do with this gorgeous fabric. The possibilities are endless.

Gifts for downline and friends

I made these tins for my downline and a few friends for convention. I bought the tins at a craft store and inside I put a Starbuck's gift card. They are pretty easy to decorate. I basically just copied a card I made for my July clubs. It is posted back on July 18th if you want to go check it out. I stamped the Elements of Style onto the Big shot die cut butterflies and then colored them with pretty in pink and certainly celery markers.

Homemade and to die for!

Doesn't this look yummy? My friend and downline Tiffany Thompson brought these for everyone at my downline meeting this month. This is a homemade chocolate truffle and it is packaged so nicely in this cello bag and then in one of our fancy favor boxes made with the Big Shot die cutting machine. The Homemade stamp is on pg 18 in our big catalog and idea book. It is great for any homemade item but will be especially perfect around the holidays and it is only $8.95!

Cute little tin gift idea

I was organizing my stamp room a couple weeks ago and found a couple boxes full of these cute little tins that I bought several years back….amazing what you find when you start cleaning, huh? Anyway, my open house was coming up last week so I decided to use them as one of the make and take projects. I gave everyone a Peppermint Patty for inside and then on the top, we punched out some flowers with the flower punch and then stamped on the white ones with the Elements of Style set from the Stampin' Up summer mini. Then we colored it in with markers ( celery and pretty in pink) and sponged it a little to give it that aged look. This is a super quick and easy idea and I am sure these tins are at any arts and craft store in the wedding section probably.

Featured demo of the month (part 2)

Here is part 2 of my Featured Demonstrator of the Month post. This month I am spotlighting Debbie Keane, a wonderful demonstrator in my downline. Here is another fabulous project she made. This one is the Fancy Favor bag made using the big shot die. It is decorated with the Artistic Etchings stamp set on pg 125 in the Stampin Up catalog. I love this stamp set!

This one is a 6×6 recipe page. I love this because I have a whole 6×6 scrapbook to put these recipes in. They make great gifts, especially at Christmas!

I think this is my favorite thing that she made because it was so creative! She used the eyelet border punch and then hung mini cards from it and it says " Lisa's Cards" on the top. This is Totally Tess instead of me…..that waist is definitely too small to be mine! LOL! It kind of reminds me of Barbie's figure.

Here is a cute tropical card made with the Tropical Party stamp set in the summer mini catalog.

This is a really cute box with little mini note cards and envelopes inside. This would also be a great gift idea.

Here is a view of the inside of the box.  Debbie used the same Tropical Party stamp set for this project too.

July Demonstrator of the Month! (part 1)

If you follow my blog, then you know each month I pick one of my fabulous downline to be featured as the demo of the month! It is exciting for them to be showcased and I get a chance to brag about how awesome they are! This month, I am happy to present Debbie Keane as the featured demo of the month. Debbie has been a stamper for longer than I have!  Now she is hooked on Stampin' Up and I am proud to have her in my downline. She created a whole pile of cool things for me to post this month. You can also check out more of Debbie's samples on her blog here. I have to post this on 2 separate days because there are so many wonderful projects to show you.

This first project is a 12×12 scrapbook page using the travel journal designer paper featured in the Stampin Up summer mini. This is an awesome page for any trip you want to take!

Debbie also likes to knit so she made these cute dishcloths and then wrapped them in the Island Oasis designer papers (also in the Stampin Up summer mini). These would make a great gift!

Here is a close up of the tag which is from the Hand Knit stamp set on pg 65 in the Stampin Up catalog.

This is an adorable journal Debbie made for me that has an L on the front for Lisa! She used more of the Island Oasis paper for the front of this.

For this card, Debbie used the Apple Blossoms level 2 hostess set on pg 12 in the Stampin Up catalog.  Very cute and pretty quick and easy.

This is another card showing the Apple Blossoms stamp set. You can get this set for FREE by hosting a Stampin Up party! A set of these would be great for teacher's gifts.

June Stamp Camp!

For this month's stamp camp, I am doing a Thoroughly Modern Design…..I am using the Thoroughly Modern paper theme to create an adorable box and 4 cards to go inside. I got the box design from Julie Ramos about a year or so ago and finally decided to try it. It came out so cute.

This is the side view of the box. I used a flower theme also so every project has flowers on it. I love the pretties kit flowers and I am so bummed they are retiring. We are getting new flowers though so I am sure I will love them just as much. The box holds all 4 cards plus envelopes (2 on each side).

Here is the whole thing……the box plus the 4 cards. If you are local to the Chesapeake/ VA Beach area. you are welcome to come. Click on my calendar at the top of my blog to check out the class schedule.

Great Father’s Day card

My friend Lorrie made this cute Father's Day card for a swap I participated in recently. It is so cute. I am sure there is a pattern somewhere but I don't know where so if any of you find one let me know and I will add it to this post.

Here is what it looks like when you open the vest part up.

Then if you flip the shirt part up, there is a little cello bag attached inside to hold a gift card! How cute is that? It is so much cuter in person. I wish you could see it!

Featured Demo of the month Part 1

Each month I feature one of my fabulous downline as the demo of the month. It is a way for me to show off their hard work and get them to go out of the box with their stamping ideas too.

This month I am showcasing Liz Velazquez. Liz is a super talented demonstrator and I can't wait to show you some of the cool projects she made for me!

This first project is a cute box she covered with our designer paper and then decorated with flowers.

Inside she put a couple of teabags wrapped in cello and a belly band with another flower. How cute is that?

This card uses one of my favorite sets, Elements of Style. Liz colored in all of the flowers in gorgeous spring colors. I love the white satin ribbon on this one too.

Then she went tropical and made several cute things using the Tropical Party stamp set and the Island Oasis designer paper. This first project is framed art which I am sure my daughter is going to steal and put in her bedroom. She has a giant surfboard to match on the wall in there.

Here is a cute card using the same stamp set and paper. It is so versatile you can use it for almost anything.

Next she did a 2 page tropical scrapbook layout. These would be perfect to use for my recent Stampin Up Caribbean vacation! Thanks Liz! Stay tuned for more projects from Liz coming later in the week. To see more samples from Liz, you can also check out her blog here.
