My friend Lorrie showed me this cute idea at our shoebox swap and of course, I had to copy it and do it at my stamp camp this past weekend. It is super easy and all you need are two 3 1/2 inch square coasters, a pack of post its, some cardstock, ribbon, eyelets and of course some stamps and ink! I set the coasters down next to each other and then covered them with the sahara sand cardstock. This makes a really sturdy backing. Then decorate however you like.

We had another birthday celebration at my house the other day….it was Sandy’s and Colleen’s birthdays this month so we had a double birthday bash. This framed art was Sandy’s gift to Colleen. It is just stunning.  I wish I could find some frames like this to copy the idea. Sandy used 2 of my favorite sets to create it too….Fifth Avenue Floral and Great Friend. I just love it . They both got some fabulous gifts so I will be sharing more pics in the next week.

  This is a card created by my downline Sue Bjorgaard. We did this one at my shoebox swap. I LOVE this daisy die for the Bog Shot. I have so many favorites though it is hard to pick one. I can’t wait to see what new dies we will have in the next catalog. The corduroy button adds a nice touch also.

Here is a sample I made using the Big Shot Die Box #2.  When I first got it, it kept cutting the score lines but now that I have the extended crease pad, it works great! I just keep rolling them out. There are so many things you can do with them. I think these would make great wedding or bridal shower favors. For this one, I wheeled it with the Friendly Words wheel and then used the Great Friend set from the Occasions mini for the front pieces. I hope this set sticks around because it is one of my favorites.

This is another project from my shoebox swap. My upline Melissa Ellis created the original version of this one. It is called an explosion box. You start with a 7 1/2 by 7 1/2 square of cardstock and score it at 2 1/2 and 5 on both sides. Then you have to score the 4 outer corners in half on a diagonal. That is the hardest part. These diagonals have to fold  in towards the center of the box. Once it is scored, it is easy to fold up and then cover with the lid.The lid is a 4 1/2 inch square and score just a sliver less than an inch on all 4 sides.

I love these window sheets. You can whip out a card in 5 minutes.

These look like the same cards but I did the sentiment and the butterfly different.  The first one I stamped the sentiment in white stazon and you can barely see it under the butterfly so I tried the rub-ons on the 2nd one and it showed up way better.  The rub-ons stick so well to these window sheets. Hope you like these.

and here is my card…..

This is a card I just made for  a swap I am doing with a bunch of other demo friends. I am also doing this card in all of my clubs this month so if you are in one of my clubs or have a workshop booked this month, you will get to make this one. I used the new stamp set Great Friend from the Occasions mini and stamped the background leaves in the white craft pad. Then the next layer is our Walk in the Park DSP that I punched out with the Top Note die. The flower and pearl are from the pretties kit, and I stamped and cut out the butterfly (sorry, not a punch). This card is really pretty easy to make but gives such a wow! I hope you like it. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
