Mojo Monday Challenge

Here is this week's Mojo Monday challenge. I thought this would be a super easy one but what I had in my mind didn't end up working so I had to start over. I like how it came out though.

I used the " To the Nines" designer paper from Stampin Up. I love this paper and it  goes so well with almost any stamp set. I also used the hostess set  "Of the Earth" for the center circle. I sponged one of our gorgeous pretties kit flowers too. Why don't you give the Mojo Monday challenge a try?

Serene Snowflakes

Here is a card my downline Niccole Marshall did for my downline group swap. She used the Serene Snowflakes set in Rich Razzleberry and accented with the pearls from the Pretties kit. I have so many talented downline in my group. Scroll down to see more samples from the Holiday mini swaps I hosted.

Beautiful Butterflies!

This is one of the cards I am doing in my clubs this month. I am soooooo going to miss this Parisian Breeze DSP. It is my FAVORITE one! It has my favorite color combos all rolled into one. I hope one day they bring this baja breeze back.  It goes so well with chocolate chip.  This is a super easy card I made with our exclusive Stampin Up Beautiful Butterflies big shot die. It is so easy to add that extra touch with these butterflies (and no cutting is needed!).

Oval All and the new scalloped oval punch

Have you seen the new scalloped oval punch in the Occasions mini yet?  Besides the Big Shot dies, my favorite thing is punches and Stampin’ Up has some awesome ones. I love the new scalloped oval punch which layers perfectly with the large oval punch. Here are a couple samples with the new punch and with the Oval All set in the Occasions mini. I had a hard time not buying everything in that mini. There are such great sets this time. Stampin Up really outdid themselves.

This gorgeous card was made by my friend Christy Schroeger from Colorado. This was one of my favorites from the swap. I love how she used the punches to make the dress. It is just stunning.

This beautiful card was made by my upline Melissa Ellis. She took my new favorite Big shot die, the Manhattan flower and brayered ink on it and then put it through the Big Shot to get the saffron background. This is similar to one we are doing in my April classes. Both of these cards also use the Oval All set and the scalloped oval punch layered with the large oval punch.

DCBD Challenge #122

It is time for another Diva Coffee Break design challenge. Sorry I missed the last couple of weeks. I was in Hawaii on the Stampin’ Up trip and then it took me about a week to recuperate and get caught up. Anyway, here is this week’s challenge….use the Big Shot to create a project….this one is super easy for me since I use my Big Shot for EVERYTHING!!! It is almost impossible to find something in my house that is not made with the Big Shot. I LOVE IT!

and here is my card…..

This is a card I just made for  a swap I am doing with a bunch of other demo friends. I am also doing this card in all of my clubs this month so if you are in one of my clubs or have a workshop booked this month, you will get to make this one. I used the new stamp set Great Friend from the Occasions mini and stamped the background leaves in the white craft pad. Then the next layer is our Walk in the Park DSP that I punched out with the Top Note die. The flower and pearl are from the pretties kit, and I stamped and cut out the butterfly (sorry, not a punch). This card is really pretty easy to make but gives such a wow! I hope you like it. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Don’t forget to check out the other coffee break designers here. Also, don’t forget, for every $40 you purchase from the Occasions mini this month, you get to pick a free gift! Details are in my sidebar under Get Connected Special.

Great ideas to share….

I hope you can handle a few more card samples from the display boards. One of these days I will come back to reality and start stamping again….LOL! I am still in Hawaii mode….no worries. I can’t get myself motivated to get back to work yet especially since the weather here has been gorgeous the last few days. I just want to stay outside and enjoy the sunshine. Here are a few more of my favorite cards from the display boards……

Here is a sample using the new printed window sheets from the Occasions mini. How simple is that? Just cut and glue onto the front of a card. The butterfly is from the set Great Friends , also in the Occasions mini. If you would like to place an order for these items, just click on the Shop button at the top of the screen.

This is a quick and easy card made with the Walk in the Park dsp and the butterfly big shot die.  The butterfly is also accented with pearls from the pretties kit.

Love this new set…Sense of Time…in the Occasions mini….

More framed art…

Every other week, I have a group of local demos over to my house to stamp and do a shoebox swap. We celebrate each other’s birthdays with handstamped gifts and lunch.  This month it was my friend Melissa’s birthday. Here is one of the many awesome birthday gifts she received ( I posted another one a couple of days ago). This one was made by another friend, Fairle Carroll. Isn’t it absolutely gorgeous? She used the butterfly die for the Big SHot and layered them to give it a 3D look. She also embossed the wings. It is hard to see in the picture but she did a fantastic job.

Beautiful butterflies

THis is another Sale-abration sample made with the Yummy set. My best friend Kimberly Van Diepen did this one and it is gorgeous as always. SHe also used the new butterfly Big SHot die and put 2 of them together to make it pop and she also used the new textured die for the background. How cool is that? The pearl is from our Pretties kit.
