This adorable card was created by one of my very talented customers (Rebecca Weil). She used the Build a Blossom stamp set and the matching Blossom Petals punch both located on pg 12 of the Stampin Up Occasions mini. She brought it to class to show everyone the other day and I just thought it was so cute! She said she came up with the fish idea herself so I was very impressed.
Here is a close up of the fish. All of this can be punched out so no cutting is required!
I have seen so many different ways to use the Stampin Up owl punch and this is one of the cutest I think. My friend Debbie brought this card to a recent shoebox swap at my house and it was so adorable I had to share it. I think she got the nurse owl idea from someone else's blog but I have no idea who. If you are the creator, let me know and I will be happy to give you credit. It is amazing to me how many creative ideas people have come up with using this owl punch. I just love it.
Here is a close up of the owl herself. The cross is made from the 3 pack of mini punches and you just snip the edges to make them straight.
One of my friends (and customer) Rikki Holley came up with this cute idea of turning the owl punch into a hippo. She made a video of it so I wanted to share it with you. She did a great job. I keep telling her she needs to sign up and be a Stampin Up demonstrator! Leave a comment and let her know what you think. Great Job Rikki!
