DCBD challenge #117

It is Wednesday, so that means it is time for another Diva’s Coffee Break design challenge! Here is this week’s challenge……

and here is what I came up with……

I was pretty happy with this one except I couldn’t fit the ribbon on the top of that piece so I put it in the middle. I used the  FREE sale-abration paper for the center strip over celery and bashful blue. The back piece is so saffron and I stamped the botanical leaves in white craft. The main image is the FREE Botanical Blooms set.  I love it! The ribbon is the bashful blue taffeta. I hope you like it. Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think. Botanical Blooms

This is a card we made at my shoebox swap yesterday. My upline Melissa created this one. I had never seen the technique for the eyelet border around the circle. You make one long piece with the eyelet border punch and then separate each little scalloped piece and then start layering them around the circle so it kind of looks like an eyelet border circle punch.

Yummy….

This is a card I did using the new Sale-a-bration set Yummy. I punched out a scallop envelope using the new Big Shot and stuck a Ghirardelli chocolate inside. THe background is the new Raspberry Tart DSP and kiwi kiss textured cardstock.

Beautiful butterflies

  THis is another Sale-abration sample made with the Yummy set. My best friend Kimberly Van Diepen did this one and it is gorgeous as always. SHe also used the new butterfly Big SHot die and put 2 of them together to make it pop and she also used the new textured die for the background. How cool is that? The pearl is from our Pretties kit.

  It feels like spring here in Virginia today so I thought I would post a pretty flower card. My friend Michelle made this one for our swap. Another Polka Dot Punch….

   This is another Sale-a-bration swap card I got. This one was made by my good friend Mary Anne Grimmer. She always does a fabulous job. I love the scalloped envelope die on here. This one also uses that pretty Delicate Dots Dsp. Both the Polka dot punches set and the dsp pack are available for free with a $50 order during Feb and March.
