Stampin Up friends

I am off to Founder’s Circle!!

Hey everyone,

I will be at Founder's Circle in St. George, Utah for the week! It is a fabulous trip that Stampin Up gives to the top 100 demos in the country. This is a group shot of us from last year. I am the one in the front row smack dab in the center (black shirt on). I will come back nice and relaxed and ready to go when I get back. So, I have set up my blog to post a couple of times while I am gone but I probably won't be able to respond to anything til I return. We have limited computer access there. Have a great week!

A couple more pics from convention

This was one of my favorite pics from convention. This is me and my friends Cindy and Christie on awards night. Awards night is always a lot of fun. You get to see all of your friends and then find out what # you are in the company if you are lucky enough to earn Founder's Circle (top 100). They start at #100 and count down to #1 so it is so exciting when they call your name. You don't find out what number you are til that moment. I was #23 this year which I was really happy about. Of course #1 would have been better but my good friend Kimberly Van Diepen got that honor and she really deserved it. Maybe next year…..

This is my roommate Tiffany, me and my good friend Tami. Shelli had just announced that she was giving everyone there a big pack of Holiday mini items! Everyone started screaming and dancing like we had all just won a million dollars! The cool thing was these items were not available to order yet so those of us at convention were the only ones who got them ahead of time.

Stamping fun at my friend Cindy’s house!

Here is my awesome friend Cindy Petersen. She was so kind to invite us to her house to stamp right after we arrived in Salt Lake but first she took us to lunch at Cafe Rio's (yummmm!). She had the cutest stamp room!

More pics from Leadership

I went to my upline's meeting last night and had to do a little speech on how much fun Leadership was and for me, the best part is always seeing my friends from all over the country. These are pictures from our last night together at Leadership. We were all bummed about going home because we had so much fun all week (plus we were all going home to freezing cold weather after enjoying 70's in Phoenix). A bunch of us went to Uno's Pizza for dinner and ended up staying for hours just talking. The weather was so nice we ate outside.

Here are my friends Lisa Fast and Dena Rekow. Lisa is from South Dakota and said it was like 30 below zero where she lived so they closed the whole state down because it was too dangerous to go outside. I can't even imagine. I am not a cold weather person. I want to live in Florida one day so it is warm most of the year.

Here are Tami White, her mom and her downline and my awesome roomie Terri.

Here are Pam, me and Tami.

Ok, I have to throw in something stamped here. This is a really cool box that Shelli decorated. Of course if Shelli made it, it is gorgeous!  I love the way she makes everything shabby chic (vintage) looking.

Pics from Leadership

Here are a few pictures from Leadership….these are just a few of the many friends that I have made being a Stampin Up demo all these years. I can't wait to go to Stampin Up events to see all of my friends from everywhere in the country. Stampin Up is such a great company to work for and the friendships I have made here will last a lifetime. The 1st one is my awesome roommate Terri and I.

Here is me with my great friend Kimberly Van Diepen.

This is my awesome friend Cindy Petersen. She always makes me smile!

These are pics from the Managers Receptions. Our table was set up so nice, I had to take a picture.

Here is Kimberly getting down!

This is my good friend Max who is also a Sam at Stampin Up. She always keeps everyone laughing.

Here are Max, Christie and Cindy acting silly!

I promise to show stamping ideas from Leadership tomorrow.

Ok, I am almost done posting Founder’s Circle stuff….

I just have so much fun stuff to share from Founder’s Circle….. I will post some of the swaps starting tomorrow.

Here is another pic from the pajama party. I stole this one off Kimberly’s blog since she hasn’t sent me the originals yet. She is my photographer. That is Dawn Rapsas, me, Christie Schroeger, and Dawn Griffith. We all helped Dawn R. with her swaps and we were covered in glitter from head to toe. We finished them with about 2 minutes to spare.

This is Cori Hancock and Bonnie Thurber . They both work at Stampin Up and made our trip extra special. They are so much fun.

Here are BJ Peters, Cheryl Flynn, and Tami White. I had so much fun hanging out with them last week.

This was the gathering place where we did our make and takes and just hung out. It was so relaxing in there.

Stampin Up had a huge stash of candy in the gathering place for us. Everytime you went in there, there were tables of candy all around the room so you always had to stop and grab some. This is Tami and Leasa sneaking some…..

This is our farewell dinner the last night. We went to a country club called The Ledges which was gorgeous. I am in the front row center wearing a black top. If you get a magnifying glass you can see me!

More from Founder’s Circle…..

Here are some more pics from Founder’s Circle.

This first one is one of the projects my good friend Cindy Peterson made. I was hoping she would leave it laying around so I could stick it in my bag….LOL! Only kidding! It was way cute though.

This is our wonderful hostess Susan Adams. We spent the day at her house (Suzy’s stamping cottage). It was so cool. You just never want to leave there. Also in the picture are Cindy Peterson and me!

This is my good friend Leasa Williams…..

Here are Leasa, Cheryl Flynn and me hanging out at the Pajama party.

This was our pajama party swap…..what a blast. That is my great friend Kimberly Van Diepen in front. I am standing next to her on the right side.  I am already missing my friends and can’t wait to go to Leadership to see everyone again. That is the best part of this business….the friendships. I have so many awesome friends all over the country.  It is so much fun when we all get together.

Founder’s Circle

I just returned from Founder’s Circle and it was sooooo much fun! I love seeing all of my friends from all over the US and Canada. We had a nice relaxing week. I spent a lot of time stamping at my friend Susan Adam’s house (she lives in St. George) so I thought I would share some of those pictures first. Susan has this awesome stamping cottage next to her house. We were all drooling over how nice it would be to have one ourselves. I did take pictures of our gifts and things but many of them are top secret and cannot be shared until the Occasions mini comes out so I will share some other things now.

Here are my friends Cindy Peterson, Kimberly Van Diepen and Jackie Bolhuis. We were all making some really cool projects which I will be sharing in the next several days.

Here are Cindy, Cheryl Flynn, and Leasa Williams

This is Christie Daugherty and April Roycroft. April’s sweet little baby slept the whole day! She has a different little headband to go with every outfit. They were so cute.

This is my friend Georgia Giguere holding some of the flower pins we made at Susan’s house using the Big Shot. I learned so many cool things to do with fabric and the Big Shot, it was amazing.

Here is a close-up of the flower pins. They are just gorgeous.

This is one of the quilts that Susan made using the Big Shot. You can punch out so many cool shapes and then just sew them on.

Here is another quilt that is just gorgeous. This one used the scalloped oval die to frame all of her pictures and the Decorative Accents and Decorative Accent #2 for the swirls. How cool is that??? I think I might have to take up quilting now!

Number Eight is Really Great!

At my stamp club last night, Carol made cupcakes and stuck a little sign in there that said "Number Eight is Really Great".  That is because I was #8 for demo of the year this year! I was so surprised. SHe had brought them in and set it up in the kitchen and I didn’t even know it until I went in there and saw the sign. Too bad I didn’t get the picture before half of them were eaten! Here is a picture of Carol holding the tray. Thanks Carol for being such a sweetie!
