Carried Away Card Set and Tin

Hey Everyone,

It’s hard not to fall in love with all of the Beautiful sets in the Stampin Up Occasions mini catalog this year. I had such a hard time deciding what to get this year. It is a good thing I am a demonstrator so I could get a discount on all of my purchases! I still have several things on my wish list including the Lift Me Up bundle on pg 10.

It is so adorable and coordinates perfectly with the Carried Away designer series paper stack in the Sale-abration catalog which you can get for FREE with your $50 or more order.

Check out this great video from Stampin’ Up! trainer, Brandi, as she shares how to make 12 super cute cards using the Carried Away Designer Series Paper . Package all of your cards in an adorable tin you can also get for FREE when you make a qualifying purchase during Sale-A-Bration (January 4-March 31, 2017)

Quick and Easy Christmas Card!

Hey everyone!

I have a super quick and easy Christmas card to show you today! I created a video to show you how I did it, but here are some of the details…. I used the Father Christmas stamp set and early espresso ink to stamp the images. Then I sponged it in soft suede. I stamped all of the images at the same time but putting them on one block. To see how, check out my video.

Check Out My Candy Cane Lane Treat Box!

Hey everyone!

Today I am going to show you how to make an adorable Christmas treat box using the Candy Cane Lane designer series paper from Stampin Up. It is so easy to make that you will want to make a bunch of them as gifts for everyone! For the real red cardstock, I started with a piece that is 5 x 8 1/2 and the belly band is 2×9. I scored both of them at 1 1/2, 4, 5 1/2 and 8. The red piece is also scored at 1 1/2 on the short side. You can see it all in the video!

The only difference between the 2 pics is the house on front and the belly band.  I cut the houses out of the candy cane lane paper.

All of the items used are from the Stampin Up Holiday mini catalog on pg 5. The red stitched ribbon is one of my favorite new ribbons. It is so pretty in person.

Another Drapery Fold Card and Video!

Hey Everyone!

Here is another drapery fold card that is kind of a part 2 to the last one I posted. The first one was a portrait card where the drapery piece was 4″ wide. In this one, the drapery piece is landscape style and the drapery piece is 5 1/4″ wide.  I used the Floral Boutique paper and the Floral Phrases stamp set found on pgs 76-77 in the Stampin Up catalog. It is my FAVORITE stamp set and paper combo. It is absolutely gorgeous!

Drapery Fold Technique!

drapery fold1
Hey Everyone!
I made this card for my technique class this month and decided to make a video tutorial to go with it! It shows how to make that neat fold at the bottom of the card. The video is designed to show one that folds up to 4 inches across (portrait card) and I will do another video to show one that is for the 5 1/4 inch across (landscape card). I used the blooms and bliss designer series paper from Stampin Up. Isn’t it gorgeous!! This technique is so easy and I show you how to make the template in the video! So take a look!

Irresistibly Floral Designer Series Paper is Gorgeous!

 Hey everyone!

Here are a couple of cards I made using the Irresistibly Floral dsp from Stampin Up! I love this paper. You can find it on pg 172 in the Big Stampin Up catalog. You might miss it though because it is all white. You have to add the color to it to see how gorgeous it is! These 2 card samples show 2 different pieces of the prints that you get in the pack. They are already embossed so when you add the color to it, the design just pops out!

I made a video showing you how to do it so check it out! If you would like to order this paper or anything else from the Stampin Up catalog, just click on the shopping cart to the right! Thanks for stopping by!

All of the measurements and details are in the video. I used Bermuda Bay and Rich Razzleberry. Let me know what you think. Have a great day! Lisa

Quick and Easy Wild About Flowers Video!

Hey everyone!

Today I am sharing one of the cards I did in a recent class that was showing off the Floral Boutique designer paper. I was looking for stamp sets that went well with the paper and the Wild About Flowers set was perfect. This paper is so gorgeous! The night of navy and white combination is so versatile. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, this is a must have item from the new catalog!

Funny thing about this video….I uploaded it to you tube and then I had to go run out and do some things…well I forgot to go back and edit it so when I remembered, I realized it was upside down for over 24 hours. Luckily only about 20 people had watched it but no one commented on it! LOL! I am still learning this video thing so bare with me til I get the hang of it and can do it all in one sitting! I don’t know how some people make them look so effortless…trust me, they are a lot of work when you first start doing them, but I hope you are enjoying them.
