Featured demonstrator of the month…..part 1

I am starting a new thing this month. I wanted to encourage my downline to spread their wings a little so I am going to be featuring one of my downline each month as a demo of the month. They have to make several projects and submit them to me to be featured.  I am very proud to present my first featured demo of the month. Her name is Sandy Alexander and she is a fabulous stamper. I am so excited to have her as part of my downline. Here is her picture. You might have seen her a few days ago on my blog showing off the quilt purse she made at my house.

Here are a few of the awesome projects she has made lately….the first one is a Valentine treat bag made with the Big shot and the Top note die. I love the shabby chic look of this one. I will be showing more of her projects later in the week too.

The next one is a cute owl card that shows off our new polka dot embossing folder from the Occasions mini.

Here is a cute birthday card….sweet and simple.

I love this birdhouse card made with the new bird punch. She also used the pinking hearts border punch for the roof line.

Look at the fun we had at my downline meeting!

I had my downline meeting on Thursday night and we made some really cute projects. I brought a couple projects and several of the girls who came also brought projects. I got the idea for the bag tags from Patty Bennett. She made them at her group meeting and I thought it was a great idea so I copied her!  They got to pick a piece of designer paper from the huge pack of Sweetpea papers. That is a never ending slab of paper if you haven't had a chance to see it up close and personal! You can make so many things with just that one pack. We also used the sweetpea felt flowers to embellish the tags. Sorry the ribbon is kind of covering the second one.

Here is a sweet little notecard I made. I wanted to show the girls that neat flower technique. Too bad I forgot to remember to bring the brads and my hole punch!  I had to give them a homework assignment to go home and finish them! They didn't seem to mind too much!  The directions for the flower are on my Feb 9th post.

This was Niccole's Valentine gift box. It had a pack of sweethearts candy  inside. I included two photos so you could see the front and the top view. This would make a great treat for younger kids to give as Valentine's to their friends.

Here is Melissa's project from the top and the side. She made the box from the square scallop die in the Big Shot! How cute is that? Four Hershey's nuggets fit perfectly inside.

Always

My friend Debbie did this card for our shoebox swap the other day. I just love it. It uses the Always set from the big catalog and the Sending Love designer paper. I don't know why I don't use this set more. It is one of my favorites.

Just can’t get enough of Vintage Vogue

This gorgeous card was made by my upline Faith for one of my swaps. I love the red and the kraft together. You could use this one as a Valentine card or an "anytime you want to say I love you" card.  I just love it.

Couple of Valentine Ideas….

This was a card I did at my recent downline meeting. It is super easy but shows many of our new products including the polka dot embossing folder, the heart embosslit, the new scallop edge punch, our new satin ribbon, and our new designer paper. You have to have our awesome Big Shot die cutting machine to make this card though. I don't know how I lived without mine.

This was a card one of my team members (Kim Leclear) made. I just thought this was so soft and pretty. It uses the new butterfly embosslit. If you have not gotten this yet, you need to run and order it right now. It is so cool. It punches and embosses the butterflies in one step.

This was a cute little note card that another team member (Sandy Alexander) made.  At my monthly downline meetings we do a shoebox swap and all the girls get to make these projects. We usually make about 7 projects each month and I get volunteers to bring them. THese are just a few of the ones we all made.

Love you much….

I absolutely love this Love You Much set and matching Candy Lane paper. It was one of the best specials Stampin Up has ever offered. I hope they do more of these bundles again soon. This sample uses the new eyelet border punch. I also covered the birds in the patterned paper.

Check out this cute card made with punches!

I had a group of demos over the other day for a shoebox swap and this was one of our projects that we got to make. My friend and downline Sue Bjorgaard did this one for her project. I just thought it was so cute. It is pretty much made with all punches. The feet are the round tab punch, the bodies are the oval punches, the eye area is the heart punch, the hands are the small oval punch and you cut it in half lengthwise. The head is the 1 3/8 circle punch, and the beak is the small oval also. It is a little time consuming to put together but so adorable!
