Carols of Christmas with Glittered Embossing Paste

Hey everyone!

Today I’m going to show you how to create this beautiful Christmas card using embossing paste as the background.  It is super easy to do and creates such a unique look.  I used the Carols of Christmas stamp set.  Here is the card I made with a close up of the embossing paste sprinkled with dazzling diamonds glitter. I also used the dazzling details glimmer paper for the tree. The embossing paste is so much fun to use. Check out my video below to see how I did it!

Marbled Background Meets Tranquil Tulips!

Hey everyone!

I am in love with the new Marbled Background stamp and if you blink, you might miss it in the Stampin Up catalog! It is on pg 165. It looks like the shaving cream technique that I used to do a long time ago. But it is so much easier and there is no sticky mess to clean up!!

I also love the Tranquil Tulips hostess stamp set which you can find on pg 223. You can only get this stamp set if you are a hostess or place an order over $150. It won’t be available to order so make sure you book your party or place your qualifying order so you don’t miss out.

You can see a close up below of the wink of stella colored on the flowers. I looove the wink of stella pen and if you tap the pen on the side of the lid, it will sprinkle little glitter dots on there. That’s how I did the notebooks farther down on this page.

I also made a how-to video showing you how I made it. The video will not show up in an email feed so please click on the link to see the video.

I also made several notepads that I had left over from other classes and just changed the colors to go with the background color and pens that came with the pads. I used lemon lime twist and tempting turquoise for the first and last ones and the center one is pumpkin pie and pear pizzazz. I also splattered the wink of stella on these. You can use almost any color you want for these tulips and they are just gorgeous.

Carols of Christmas Z-Fold Card

Hey everyone!

I finally had a chance to make another video. I wasn’t really happy with this one at the beginning, but once I get started it goes pretty well. I just need a little more practice.

But you will love the card I made in the video! It is so pretty.

More details below the video.

If you are viewing this in an email, please click on the link to see the video.

Here is the front of the card. I love this color combo together. It is pool party and tranquil tide. I used the Delightful Daisy and Fresh Florals designer papers on this card too.

Here are the measurements….

Pool Party 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2

Delightful daisy piece 2 1/2 x 4

Fresh Florals piece 4 x 5 1/4

Tranquil Tide 2 3/4 x 2 3/4

White 2 3/4 x 2 3/4, cut out using the stitched framelits

Here is a view from above the card….see how it looks like a Z?

I die cut the trees using the Card Front Builder thinlits. I used the dazzling diamonds glimmer paper and the tranquil tide cardstock.

Quick and Easy Treat Bag!

Hey everyone!

I finally made another video! I hope once I make more of these, I can upload them and edit them faster. Don’t laugh at my mistakes.

I did it on facebook live, so I didn’t edit anything in the video. I do have a few bloopers in there! LOL!

Here is the project I am doing in the video

I used the Wood Words stamp set that you can find on pg 159 in the big Stampin Up catalog. I also used the Wood Textures designer paper (pg 187), cherry cobbler and white cardstock, burlap ribbon and linen thread (pg 198-199), and the 3×6 gusseted cello bags (pg 195)

This is a close up of the topper.

This is the original project that my friend Michelle created and I just changed it up a little bit.

Here is the video!!!!  If you are looking at this in an email feed, then click on the link to watch the video.

Dragonfly Dreams Framed Art Tutorial

Hey everyone!

I had a great class a couple of weeks ago where we made this beautiful dragonfly framed art and a few other projects. Everyone had a great time, and I thought I would show you how easy it is to make framed art pieces. They are basically the same process as making a card, you just have to adjust your size to fit the frame you choose. I got this idea from a card I saw on pinterest. I changed it up a little bit but I loved the original idea.

They make awesome birthday gifts for friends and family that they can display for years to come. A hand made gift always means so much to the person receiving it, because you took the time to actually make something for them.

Here are all of the projects that we made in class. The notepad uses the High Tide set and the box uses the Beautiful You stamp set.

This is a close up of the matching card I made. And here is a video tutorial of how I made the framed art piece. It is super easy. I hope you make one too! If you like the video, please leave a comment and subscribe to my youtube channel and my blog for more ideas.

If you would like to order any of the products you see here, just click on the shopping cart in the upper right corner. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
