DCBD challenge #102
This is my 2nd design challenge for the Diva Coffee Break Design group. It is supposed to say #102 in the 1st photo but I couldn’t edit it so let’s just pretend that it does. We had to use the 5 colors given to create any card we wanted, so I chose one that I have been demoing this month and just changed the colors. How easy peasy is that? And, here is the card that I came up with…..drum roll please…….
For the cardstock, I used close to cocoa, so saffron, bravo burgundy, and always artichoke (regular and DSP). For the ink, I used the baby wipe technique for the leaves with ink refills in cameo coral, so saffron and bravo burgundy. The Season of Friendship set is one of my favorites now. You can do so much with it! I hope you like my card. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. Why don’t you try the challenge for yourself and see what you can come up with?? Tune in next Wed. to see what my next challenge will be. Also, don’t forget to click on the link in my sidebar (under the coffee cups) to see what all the other Coffee Break Divas came up with. I am sure you will love them!

Oh my gosh Lisa, I am so amazed. I have heard of the babywipe technique but I still have not tried it nor do I really understand how to try it but I just love what you have done here. Great color combos and I so wish I lived by you again as I would be there to learn how to make this beautiful card. Oh well…… Texas will have to do for now

You could frame this card and put it on the wall in that bedroom. I love the baby wipe technique too. I don’t want to work anymore. I just want to play with my stamps!!!

I love your card. I can honestly say that I have not really liked the stamp set you used, but I really like yours. Sometimes colors that are used makes all the difference.
