Hey everyone!
Merry Christmas! I hope you are enjoying a wonderful day filled with family, friends, joy and laughter. It is a time to reflect on the past year. Here are a few things to ponder today………
What is something you did this year that you think you will remember for the rest of your life?
What is something you accomplished this year that you are proud of?
What was the nicest thing someone did for you this year?
What is something you did this year to help someone?
What are your desires or goals for the new year?
It’s always hard for me at the end of year thinking that it went by so fast and I didn’t get anything done, but if you really think about it, you probably accomplished a lot more than you think. Did you have lunch with a friend you hadn’t seen in a long time? You caught up right up right where you left off. Try to do things like that more often.
Spend more time doing meaningful things that you will remember. No one will care if your floor is clean enough to eat off of. Just go have fun. Do something for someone else, do something for yourself. Get that pedicure and invite a friend who might not be able to afford it. You get the idea.
Make a plan to make 2018 a great year!
This past year, the news was filled with so much bad news, violence and anger towards others…… if we ALL just took the time to be more compassionate, understanding and empathetic, then we could create a powerful change. In the words of one of my favorite Christian singers (Mandisa)…. “We all bleed the same, we’re more beautiful when we come together!”
This is an awesome video to put life into perspective. Things can change in an instant, so live every day like it may be your last. Never miss the chance to say I love you. Merry Christmas.
