Painter’s Tape Technique!

painters tape

Today I decided to go through all of my stamp sets and pull the ones that will be retiring next week, and my shelves are now almost EMPTY! I can’t believe how many of my favorite sets are going out. At least I still have my old faithful Lovely as a Tree set! Shelli promised us a few years ago that this set would never retire and I hope she is right. This is one of my all time favorites. I am actually on my second set because I wore out the first one.

This is another card that I did in one of my technique classes a couple of months ago. It is super easy peasy….just take a few strips of painters tape (one for each color ink pad)….then lay it across your ink pad, press gently to pick up the color, then lift it off, lay it on your cardstock, and gently press to release the color. Then move to the next color and repeat. Stamp your image on top when you finish.
