Fall is in the Air!

Can you believe it is almost October? Where has this year gone? My yard is covered in leaves and the other day I was mowing the grass and the leaves were falling faster than I could suck them up in the mower. I love this card made by my friend Terri Mongeon. This is another set from the holiday mini called Season of Friendship. I love the colors in this one.

Card of the week!

Hey stampers! Here is my pick for card of the week! This card was created by my fabulous friend Michelle Burkett for a swap I am doing. I just love this new set Winter Post which is in the holiday mini catalog.  She did a great job with it. I think I just might have to copy it for one of my Oct. classes. Did you notice the vanilla hodgepodge piece on there? THat will finally be available on Wednesday! I am so excited because I have been dying to use it. I love this baja breeze striped ribbon also!

This is another one from the same swap. THis one was created by one of my very own talented downline Cyndi Wheeler! She used the Scandinavian Season set from the Holiday mini. If you have not received your copy in the mail yet, please stop by to pick one up. You are going to flip when you see all of the cool things in there. The ribbon is to die for! There is also a really neat calendar set you can create as a gift for someone. I had to order almost everything in it myself because it was just too hard to choose! I hope you all are having a fabulous Monday! I will post more cards from this swap all week!

Isn’t this cute?

Isn’t this card adorable? I am making some of these for some friends of mine and thought I would share with you also. I made the purse using the Big Shot Top note die and the beautiful Bella Rosa paper. I also used the Bella Toile background stamp on the Riding Hood red cardstock. Look for this card in one of my upcoming classes. I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend!

Cute Halloween Project

Aren’t these the cutest spiders ever? One of my customers saw these on splitcoast and sent me the picture so I  can’t take credit for them but you bet I will be copying them. Thanks to the person who came up with them and shared them with everyone though. Why can’t I come up with these brilliant ideas? These are made with the scallop circle punch, the photo corner punch and the 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch circle punches. Pop a Peppermint Patty in between 2 of the scallops and you have an adorable project for young kids.

I think I’ve got it now! WOOHOO!

Now I am just practicing…. I think I have figured out the watermark thing. Thank goodness! I am so excited. I can’t wait to start posting new items now! This is one of the cards I did in all of my classes last month. It is using one of my favorite sets….Inspired by Nature using the markers to color the image.  I used more mustard, artichoke, and chocolate chip. Enjoy.

My first post!

I am still trying to figure this blog stuff out. I just spent the last 4 hours trying to figure out how to do a watermark for the photo and then it wouldn’t work so I kept on trying until I got one on there. I need to change it a little bit though. I am totally exhausted. I wish I had a computer person in the house! It would make life so much easier. This is a card I made for a holiday swap I am doing. I hope you like it. It uses the new set Deck the Halls which we received at Founder’s Circle last week! I was one of the lucky ones who got to spend a fabulous week in St. George, Utah with all of the top demos at Stampin Up!
