New use for Build a Brad tin

By Lisa Freeman | November 29, 2008

I recently did a holiday stamp camp and I had a bunch of  empty Build a Brad tins left over. I saved them because I knew I would figure out something to do with them. I took a strip of ski slope DSP and cut it at 3/4 inch by 12 inches and wrapped it around the bottom of the tin. It fits just perfectly! Then I filled them with candy. I wanted to use kisses (so it would be silver wrapping), but all I had was Werthers so it will have to do. THen I just wrapped it with ribbon and plopped a Merry Christmas tag on top. It took about 5 minutes to make so now I am going to save all of those Build a Brad tins from now on to make these as little gifts.  How easy peasy is that??

This looks fancy but sounds easy AND you used my favorite color scheme. Great idea!
