Elements of Style Butterfly

By Lisa Freeman | July 18, 2010

This is a card I did in all of my July classes.  I saw a similar card on the front of the Stampin' Up summer mini catalog and I just changed it up a little bit. I love pink and brown so I changed it to my favorite colors. I punched out the butterflies using the Big Shot butterfly die and then I stamped the Elements of Style on it and colored it with pretty in pink and celery markers. I tried to make it vintage looking so I distressed and sponged the edges.

Here is a close up of the ribbon. I just kind of accordion folded it but I didn't really try to make it uniform.

Lisa – I have seen oodles of E of S cards pop up on blogs … this is by far, the nicest I've seen!  I don't have the set and I had pretty much decided not to get it BUT … need I say more?!? THANKS for sharing this lovely card! :)

BEAUTIFUL card Lisa- the best I've seen yet of this particular stamp set.  I love pink and brown together as well.  Thanks for sharing your wonderful creation.
