I just love this card. My favorite color is pink and I just love pink and brown (close to cocoa) together. I really miss that pink pirouette from last year. I REALLY wish they would bring it back. This is a card I made for a swap with a bunch of my friends from all over the country. I am also doing it in all of my clubs this month so if you are in one of my clubs, you will get to make this card too!!!
I used the new Vintage Vogue set and wheeled the background with the matching wheel.
I got the idea for the faux lace from my good friend Kimberly Van Diepen.
It is super easy to do and really gives a card that extra wow factor. I used the new pinking hearts border punch on mine. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
Lisa, what a soft and feminine card! I love the look of the "lace" and especially how it's all sponged to create that vintage look. Beautiful!

I love it! I think the faux lace is sweet. Thanks for sharing.
I love this card. Absolutely amazing. Could you give a tutorial on how you did the faux lace on this card?
tks,
Rachelle
Here's my CASE of your lace technique (Or your customer's -I used the altered version and crimped.) http://thestampinbunny.blogspot.com/2010/02/open-matchbook-fold.html TFS Lisa!
Really pretty Lisa – love the paper lace!
I'm just finding this card now — love it! Very feminine! TFS!
