Embossed Christmas cards…gorgeous!

By Lisa Freeman | October 14, 2009

Here are a couple of gorgeous Christmas cards using Patty Bennett’s brilliant idea shown here. She took an oval wooden frame and put it under the embossing folder and ran it through the Big Shot so the oval shape in the middle did not get embossed and then you could stamp on it. She also shows how to use your craft knife to cut out the oval shape here if you don’t want to use the wooden frame method. These 2 cards are both from my Founder’s Circle swaps. The first card was made by Kim Peck  and the second one was made by Patty Bennett! I was so excited to get these cards because I had seen Patty’s technique and couldn’t wait to try it but never had a chance so now I have samples!
