Gifts of Christmas….

By Lisa Freeman | November 17, 2009

This is a wall hanging that I did in my recent Christmas gift ideas stamp camp. I think this was the favorite project of almost everyone. My upline Faith made this one for me a while back as a gift and I thought it would make a great project for class. I used the Gifts of Christmas stamp set and the Merry Moments designer paper. The chocolate chip is embossed with the finial press folder through the Big Shot.  There was lots of sponging on this one. I also used the sanded background,  the ovals from the big shot and several other accessories. It is not hard to make but does take a little time. The chipboard is also from Stampin Up.

This is a close up of the dove part. I don't know why the color looks so yellow. I didn't realize that til I was just editing it but the real color is in the first photo. I sponged everything in close to cocoa. I think originally it was done with creamy caramel but I couldn't get that dark enough.
