Look at the fun we had at my downline meeting!

I had my downline meeting on Thursday night and we made some really cute projects. I brought a couple projects and several of the girls who came also brought projects. I got the idea for the bag tags from Patty Bennett. She made them at her group meeting and I thought it was a great idea so I copied her!  They got to pick a piece of designer paper from the huge pack of Sweetpea papers. That is a never ending slab of paper if you haven't had a chance to see it up close and personal! You can make so many things with just that one pack. We also used the sweetpea felt flowers to embellish the tags. Sorry the ribbon is kind of covering the second one.

Here is a sweet little notecard I made. I wanted to show the girls that neat flower technique. Too bad I forgot to remember to bring the brads and my hole punch!  I had to give them a homework assignment to go home and finish them! They didn't seem to mind too much!  The directions for the flower are on my Feb 9th post.

This was Niccole's Valentine gift box. It had a pack of sweethearts candy  inside. I included two photos so you could see the front and the top view. This would make a great treat for younger kids to give as Valentine's to their friends.

Here is Melissa's project from the top and the side. She made the box from the square scallop die in the Big Shot! How cute is that? Four Hershey's nuggets fit perfectly inside.

  1. The sweet pea shopping bag is so pretty.I want one really bad, do you know if anyone has a extra one they would be willing to sale? Thank you   Dianne Bell

  2. That tote bag is adorable. The tag is perfect. The flower on the card is great. Thank you for sharing it with us today. Love the candy holders. You can never go wrong with candy holders.

  3. Hi Lisa,  I'm wondering if you would share the sizes of circles used on that blue/cream notecard with the layered flower on it.  I would love to do this for a monthly card class and the size of circles would help me save time trying to figure that all out! 🙂
    Thanks for your time!
    Jennifer

  4. You already know I like the blue flower card. My other favorites here are the bag tag idea and the scallop candy holder. So many ideas! So little time!  🙂

  5. I am so sad that I cannot be there for the downline meetings!  You guys have sooooo much fun 🙂
