In case you couldn’t make it to my “Get it before it’s gone retiring stamp a stack class” this past week, here are the pics of the completed cards. We made these 12 cards using my favorite retiring papers and other items.
I am so sad to see these go but I look forward to using the new beautiful papers that are coming out on June 1st.
I am also really going to miss the doilies that are shown on the 3rd card. I sponged them in sweet sugarplum ink to match the card.
This first card uses one of favorite retiring stamp sets called Wetlands. I can’t believe it’s leaving. I love all of the stamps in the set, but especially this one. It is so versatile. I combined it with the floral boutique designer paper.
The next card uses the By The Shore designer paper, dapper denim ruched ribbon and the Picture Perfect stamp set. All of these are retiring. I love the starfish from this set because I live near the beach and love anything beach themed.
The starfish is really easy to cut out and add as an accent to your card. I used the watermelon wonder cardstock but the calypso coral ink. They seemed to match better for some reason.
For the next one I used the Blooms and Bliss designer paper, the Big on Birthdays stamp set and the mint macaron ribbon. I LOOOOVE mint macaron! I sure hope Stampin Up brings this color back again one day. My friend Michelle gave me the inspiration for this card.
Even though this paper is retiring, the stamp set is staying! I used a blender pen to add a little extra color to the flowers.
For the last card, I used the neutrals variety pack of designer paper (also retiring). This color is sahara sand. I also used the retiring doilies and sponged this one with the sweet sugarplum ink to match the sweet sugarplum ribbon.
The stamp set is staying though!! It is one of my favorites called Wild About Flowers! The flowers are stamped in sweet sugarplum and old olive.
I hope you enjoyed these cards. Many of these items are still available but only for a few more days!! This catalog expires on Wed!!!
