Valentine Mailbox….look what’s inside….

January 2, 2009 | 12 Comments

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I am having so much fun playing with this new Love You Much bundle….I have had a week off since Christmas to just play and make swaps for Leadership. I had a couple of these mini mailboxes left over from last year ( they were in the $$ bin at Target…my favorite store!). Anyway, I thought the Candy Lane paper would look great on one and I was right! Isn’t this adorable…..but wait…there’s more…..open the mailbox to see what is inside……

These cute little love notes fit perfectly inside the mailbox. THey are 3×3 size. I would love to do a class with these this year but I am sure Target will be sold out of them by the time I get there.  For the mailbox, I used a 4×12 sheet of DSP and made a template out of scrap paper to punch the 1/2 inch circle to go around the flag. I had to punch out a few to get it positioned just right and then I laid that one over the DSP to punch the circle and then snip it so that the paper just slides in right around your flag.  I hope that makes sense.

I love this idea. I wish I lived in the US and had access to a Target. I get down to AZ twice a year and usually, by then, everything is picked over at Target. Ah well. I will continue to try, and meanwhile, will continue to be inspired by your great ideas.
