Because I Care….

I finally had a chance to play with my new stamps today! Have you seen the new hostess stamp set called Because I Care? It is sooooo gorgeous! If you haven't seen it, here is a sneak peek of it on this card I made. I created this one for my downline swap this week. I used the new embossing folder called Vintage Wallpaper. First I cut out the marina mist paper with the top note die and then I ran it through again inside the embossing folder and then I cut it in half lengthwise and trimmed it. THis will be in the new Stampin UP catalog coming out July 1. I can hardly wait! The hydrangea is colored with all new markers. I colored the leaves in Pear Pizzazz, the flower is colored in Marina Mist and then I took the Concord Crush marker and just tapped it all over the blue part.  Then I turned the stamp over and pressed it to the paper. So, it was all colored directly onto the stamp itself.  The sentiment is also from the Because I Care stamp set. That little skinny ribbon is also new in the catalog.
