String Pulling Technique Tips and Tricks!

Hey everyone!

I have been playing around with the string pulling technique and it is so much fun. I practiced quite a bit before I did a class on it so that I could work out the kinks.

I created this  video to show how I did these cards and also have some tips and tricks added in to help you do this technique. If you are getting this in an email, please click the link to go to my blog and view it ,

This first card uses soft suede ink and the thick vanilla cardstock. The stamp set is from the Painted glass stamp set. I added the gold metallic pearls for a little extra bling.

For the second sample, I used the gorgeous grape and highland heather ink and the thick white cardstock. The sentiment is from Colorful seasons.

  2. I just watched your video and I have to say, I was totally wrong on how I thought you made it….lol. Thank you again for sharing your creativity

  3. Lisa, this is really beautiful. I love the purple card. My sister and I did a similar technique when we were kids using a piece of string that we dragged through a puddle of paint on a folded sheet of paper. Funny how things come back around.
