Feeling Overwhelming Joy!!

 Hey everyone,

I had to post today about joy and gratitude. It’s Christmas Eve, and I’m so excited because I get to spend it with my family.

I only get to see them twice a year because they live so far away. Most of my Family has passed away but I still have my sister and her family left. They live in Kuala Lumpur which is pretty much on the opposite side of the world from me, so I only get to see them in the summer and at Christmas when they come home.

There is nothing like the love of your family. I can’t even explain how happy I am to be spending Christmas with them. I am so grateful that my sister and brother-in-law invite me to their gorgeous beach house every year. We have shared so many laughs, hugs and memories over the last few days.

My niece and I took a walk down to the beach yesterday because it was so gorgeous here in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  She is the most beautiful, kind hearted person I know, and she loves to give hugs!! I am so grateful that I am getting to spend time with her. I wish I could take her home with me. She always has a kind word for everyone and she brightens my day everyday. Plus she loves to stamp with me. That is an extra bonus!  Here are a few pics of our goofiness.

I am even more excited that she just got in to Elon College in NC so she will only be a few hours from me starting in August.

This is what the beach looked like yesterday. It was so empty. We had it all to ourselves.

So here is my JOY card. I used the Painted Harvest set and the Letters For You Alphabet set.  Super easy card.

Be grateful for everything you have and find the joy in the little things. I am grateful for family, friends, my stamping business, and my customers. I am also grateful for my health, that I am able to take care of myself and for all of the blessings that God has given me. Remember what the true meaning of Christmas is really about, the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

I hope you all have a Merry and Blessed Christmas.

Lisa
